Well as long as they branch off the series like Forza horizon and GT7 is a track sim racer it should be fine but I don't see long term fans of Gran turismo accepting GT7 as a open world racer or even having open-world/area aspects to it.

Oh right yh that's the only way it would work on those platforms because without that feature but your further suggestion of locking online behind a paywall won't work. Again it don't work last time with Games for windows live why did you think it will work again? Theses platforms are way too open now for that to be successful. A service like onlive/psnow is the only thing that would work. Pay for a selection of title to stream, pay title outright.
The visuals and IQ are indeed great but Photomode adds extra effects like with Forza 5 - Better Motion blur, Better Shadows, Depth of field, AA(Not like FH2 needs it :P)

That isn't going to work at all on mobile(A market dominated by f2p, IAP titles) and the failed attempt with PC before should tell you it wouldn't work again.
Anyways what incentives are going to be there for people to buy it on mobile and PC?Expect if it's a streaming service to stream Xbox,X360,XB1 games then it doesn't make sense on these platforms.

MCVUK has always leaked data like that. All those 106% infamous SS, 300% PS4 Destiny "rumors" are all "sources". It means little like with leaked figures with NPD that's how stuff happens because of the cost of the data.

There is also the black market has the second video says. And there is the piracy and paying for a sub problems(which will start after march 2015 after XBL is not free). Consoles have a uphill battle there .

What Green said. It's the same thing that happened with Destiny. PS3 sold 4% software while X360 sold 14% but PS3 sold more hardware for that week because of bundle/marketing. Same thing with anonymous sources. It's Gfk data so like NPD all we get is sources pretty much almost all sales data we have gotten has been from "sources".

This is sales charts. Every percentage increase reported in the UK has always been an anonymous source.
