Yep it makes sense now the only way they want you to have access to XB1 FW is through XBL. They have recently removed instructions & the support link on updating it offline.

Yh true I have seen two videos from CVG & Gizmodo where they nailed it perfectly and it worked as advertised. The problem MS will have is that a lot of people can be impatience & just want things to work instantly so they would probably write it off before trying to learn how to use it properly.
Well now XB1 is launching in 13 countries day one so if it doesn't beat/match PS4 numbers with it's 2 countries day one then that's going to be a problem for MS going forward.
Once the 29th arrives however oh my it will be interesting to see the numbers.

More than half most likely that are few that use it ways not done with kinect 1.0 like BF4 with head tracking, DR3 with background noises but it still/wouldn't be enough to ever convince me on motion gaming replacing my controller personally.
Agreed not saying it's wouldn't fun or a great game but there is enough FPS games to keep me until Star Wars Battlefront arrives :)

Fact is there is no system wide live streaming on the XB1 at launch expect via a capture card like there's no support for capture cards on PS4 at launch without a HDCP splitter.

Xbox has no HDCP for games at launch so capture cards can be used.
