We just had Advanced Warfare, I want some old school world war 2 stuff in between futuristic CODs... please?
Wow. Are/were you an orphan? To just NOT care like that...
Why are you so disconnected with mortality and how sad death is?
That's right Naga, shut him down! Vaporware... Like the Last Guardian kind of Vaporware? Or like "If I don't look at it or think about it- it doesn't exist" kind of Vaporware?
Pathetic comment either way.
Good points made in the blog, I think 75 percent of people will try PSnow and never touch it again unless they want a quick nostalgia fix or they're entertaining guests. The remaining 25 percent will play it beyond a trial phase and praise it to high heaven. That same 25 percent are diehard Sony fans.
I'm not here to say that PS now is a bad idea, I just think their model is stupid. The pricing should be game and value specific. Or broken up into tiers.
I agree with Abriel, hololens will do the same thing only better, excluding illumi-room's ability to possibly immerse bystanders who are watching you play in your living room.
But it's harder to sell a projector that makes you 'sorta kinda see shapes from the game all over your walls' compared to a hybrid ar/vr device
@dudebro
How was What he said right there being a jerk?
He just said try it, you might be surprised.
It's not like he said "Hey clueless dillweed, try it you idiot"
Oversensitive much?

As far as the negative nancy articles, I would like to see things like "check out these cool screenshots!"
Instead of:
"10 screenshots that prove Driveclub is better looking than project cars" etc.. etc..
If the media can just do more of the SHOW and less of the TELL, perhaps the classroom wouldn't be fighting so much during show and tell.
People also need to look at what's worth thinking about i...
Excellent points made sir.
Kinda reminds me of the tone I miss from gaming.. like we've lost touch with what makes video games so fun, and we're trying to critique games with numbers or scores.
I touched on most of these concerns in my Blog I wrote last year. It's my one and only blog so please read it if you'd like.
Personally, I think if games and movies are going to be scored, then that's half of the problem right there.
Think of...
Yes, most of us already know this, but I have a feeling he just said it to so there's more of an OFFICIAL statement to let the "We haz more exclusivvez on PS4 in 2015" crowd that MS isn't just sitting around on their butts.<-- on topic
Rant--> I always wonder why People are always going on and on about the PS4's 2015 exclusives. As far as AAA games, all 3 systems have good line-ups.
The Order and Uncharted DO look amazing, but othe...
The fact that the glasses can not only SHOW images, but overlay them and adapt actively to your surroundings makes this VR+AR. It's the best of both worlds. Period.
IF you are looking for a more traditional virtual reality experience, then all you would have to do is make sure the headset comes with a black clip on attachment (think luke skywalker putting the blastshield down on his helmet to block the remote's laser blasts with his lightsaber) that blacks out the lens and m...
What a fitting username you have.
@Hoffman- fair enough. Cautiously optimistic is never a bad way to go.
I was cautiously optimistic about this Windows 10 event, not really sure exactly what or how much we would see, and after seeing the full event, I left it feeling completely amazed.
I'm sure that we are some time away from seeing any of this being READY for retail, but the broad options and versatility this headset offers is second to none.
Oculus may have some hope, but Morphe...
This is a little different. They had much more being SHOWN, and people had hands on time with Hololens as well. Milo was cool, but I think it never really came to be because that wasn't really a GAME. It was just a way of showing off potential possibilities/capabilities with the kinect. It's not Microsoft's fault that nobody really made any 'killer app' kinect games.
As far as this goes, it's a lot more practical for use in the future of gaming because...
Celine Dion would get throat cancer from singing that damn song over and over if Mattrick was still at the helm
You actually DON'T know that.
Sure 360 is powerpc, and Xb1 is x86, but that doesn't just rule out the Software wizards at MS being able to run a 360 emulator to play games.
If ANYONE can achieve a solid software program that perhaps sharpens or even enhances 360 games using a software emulator, it's Microsoft.
And, that's not including the secondary option of Playing 360 games via streaming on XB1 or PC...
So yeah...we don'...
They became bad when PS fans needed a reason to downplay Gears of War, to make it sound awful and such. Yet some of their favorite games are linear too...
I say, as long as the linear levels do their job well then why complain?
Some of my favorite games are quite linear and it only bugs me If I feel like I'm doing the same thing over and over.
Funny thing is, Even some open world games suffer from getting repetitive, and some open world games also...
Wow, that actually looks really cool.
I wanna try it cuz it makes me think of Myst or Riven adventure games
Gender? No one is disputing gender... They are talking about age.
But I do agree, who really cares? The artwork IS great.
Pre-Orders are always high on the PS side tho.
For example Batman games including Arkham Knight have had higher pre-order numbers, and there's other examples from last gen etc, that show the same thing... 9/10 scenarios, PS users pre-order more heavily. How many of those numbers are actually sold through at release is another story.
Sometimes some of my friends Pre-order things before they even own the Console they are pre-ordering it for. Or they pre-order things just to...
I agree with you up until the part where you said Sony.
Sony couldn't afford anything anywhere NEAR what Ms has with their servers.
So, the part where you said "great competition" is just not possible.
IF sony could, then yeah, sure. But financially speaking- No way, José.
