Microsoft has the absolute coolest plans and groundwork being set up! I'm very excited see how it all pans out... I do have some slight skepticism about some things, but I am sure we will all see some cool surprises going down the road this year. (:
I concur. Especially when 60 bucks or less gets you four games of Halos great multi and single player goodness... with ODST and possibly Reach on the way as well.
@ Welly you're talking an open world game running at 30fps... it seriously looks amazing when you're in a helicopter at night flying over a bunch of the freeways... it's a surreal feeling it sometimes feels like you're really doing it.
60 frames per second on a linear game last gen game is not impressive to me... especially when you compare it to an open world game with thousands of things to do and see...

Do you really think a remaster deserves to win GOTY twice in a row? I don't think anybody does. Especially when it is exactly the same game as it was before just prettier and smoother.
New games deserve GOTY attention more than re-releases in my opinion. Otherwise Grand Theft Auto V would have won it undoubtedly because it's on more than one system, and its graphical enhancements are way more noticeable than TLOU R.

I think Mass Effect is pretty dark in it's own ways, especially the original ending of Mass Effect 3. You try your best and it's not enough. There's no hope for anything in the galaxy. I can see where the skepticism comes from, but only to a small degree. The thing is, hololens might be the first VR/AR peripheral to actually be available for purchase, and might be the one to show us a truly killer app or be successful. Especially with how diverse hololens is aiming to be.

Seriously looks like Skyrim assets ported/imported and/or copied into Unreal Engine 4.
Even the Sword and shields on the wall in the Inn/Tavern look almost identical.
The FOV/engine/lighting and texture quality look different, but still almost looks too close for comfort in or similar to skyrim for my tastes.
If it ends up being like skyrim then if it's at least fun or deep then I might try it.
