"Best" is subjective to the person purchasing and WHY they are purchasing.
Even best selling doesn't mean BEST overall.
A company should instead stick to mentioning a measurable trait like Best Value if it's priced lower, or Most Powerful if it has more horsepower, or Most Exclusives if it has data to show they have most exclusives etc... Because those are more like facts...

I cannot possibly disagree with you more.
Typically you have a learning curve with new hardware and devs have to make multiple versions of a game when new consoles come out.
There is NONE of that with ps4 pro and Xbox 1x and yet the gfx boost is substantial.
As another added bonus, the Xbox is becoming a lot like the PC in regards to backwards compatibility being a big focus.
The overall ecosystem the Xbox is building is more of a brand-wide tribute...
The titles are released for Both Xb1 and xb1x... no support to drop!

If anything, Ms might actually take risks with 1st party again, since they will have even more people to sell to. One version will have more bells and whistles, although the games will still be fully playable on either option.
Not really a hard concept... Cars already do this... A Honda Civic is still a great car even if you don't get the Si edition.

You know how many people only upgrade their GPU most of the time on pc? Lots.
CPU is vital, but more so on pc than console.
Strong Ram and GPU are usually enough to make a good overall system.
Unless you are running several apps, CPU is not as important as you guys make it out to be.
