Yep it still will be for gamers who like to constantly have options for cheap.
Even if the price went up to 20 dollars a month, you're still getting an amazing deal for online and access to 100+ games some of which are incredible deals.
Metro Exodus is an incredible AAA title Deliver us the moon is a great new indie, Soul Calibur VI is a good new addition, Dishonored 2, Kingdom Hearts 1.5 2.5, and 1.8 and 2.8 and KH 3 are on Gamepass, and KH3 + ReMind are on sale for game pass subscribers. Sniper elite 4, Red Dead Redemption 2, ALL the Halo games, includin...
I also wait for sales most of the time. Between hunting for good sales, I pay for game passn and the combo of the two makes it so I always have something good to play. I still buy games that really intrigue me at full price to support the Devs, but more often than not, I wait for a sale.
Especially since they will do the same game the next year with about the same graphics and gameplay.
Pay far more than that per title other wise... so what's your point?
Some 3rd party AAA is gonna be tougher to get on Gamepass, sure.
But ALL of MS's games and many more will come to it. I also don't think the price is gonna go up. I think if anything the 1 dollar per month promos will go away indefinitely.
But I think Netflix has kinda set the line in the sand people will pay for a monthly digital service. People don't wanna go above 15 bucks per month. Doesn't stop MS's current value of offer being incredible. I'm pa...
You knew somebody was gonna reply gamepass? Why? Because it's the inevitable value comparison when talking about the price of games going way up and you simply don't wanna hear what many have been saying for years? To be blunt, You are a fool if you think 120 a year (it's often much cheaper on sale and you can buy 3 month codes or year codes online) for GP, which is always going to equal 100+ titles- many of which are quite new games, day 1 games, MS first party games, or some of ...
@Crimson, how so far fetched?
They said they were adding HDR to some games without it even being a challenge or difficult for them. Games that never had HDR, and would be a first of it's kind feature consoles.
That is what I mean by "game changing." LoL It was also a play on words that I wanted to throw in. Yes it will be very much like what they did for Xbox one X, which I have and have enjoyed immensely, especially on some titles, where ifnit was just a str...
With the nsane optimizations on xbox BC, the goal of enhancing the games in ways they were never meant to be played, with new features done with "minimal work" just makes me feel like it'ill be more than just "BC" It'll quite literally be closer to "game changing"to play on series X.
As long as MS delivers better games this gen and releases them more and more often, then it doesn't matter who really sells the most. Unless you work for Sony or Microsoft, or it directly affects you and your existence, it shouldn't really matter who sells more consoles. As long as all the basic bullet points of a Quality gaming machine are there, then they should both be a great place to play and enjoy some great experiences.
And THAT ^^ is what actually matters most. Good p...
Maybe so actually.
Honestly tho, a design choice like this would be better in a different game I feel. People wanted more of a focus on the characters that they already cared about. I think a "who is good? who is bad?" Crossroads would have made more sense in a different IP.
Maybe in a game where that is decided from the get go in the plot, and the game doesn't fail to scratch a certain itch because of the Hopes of the fanbase.
I still en...
Any studio that hasn't learned Quality is greater than Quantity by now should just stop making games tbh lol.
When Sony goes the "True exclusives" route, I'am left with knowing Miles Morales could easily run on a base PS4, just with lower graphical settings. If someone wants to play MM, then they'd have to buy a PS5.
Great for Sony who gets a sale, not so great for people who want to have a choice or option.
Neither way is wrong, but I personally prefer the way Xbox is NOT making people upgrade for a while. That lets people determine their own level of ne...
2 is my fave also.
They focused on the Aliens and the New York setting and layout of the maps and levels worked extremely well. And then when Central Park got lifted into the Sky?! OMG I played it constantly on PC (which was actually a really good rig at the time) and my 360.
I bought it twice for myself, and also bought it for a random stranger I met at Walmart back in the day.
He wanted to buy a shooter for xbox and was looking in the bargain bin.
We got...
Metroid Prime 4... Guuhhhh I want details so bad.
By far. And shows no signs of stopping or losing it's value so far.
Congratulations indeed.
The game surprised me and had more to it than I thought it would when I first got it. It's extremely good and Asobo made a Unique and enjoyable game that deserves even more sales. If anyone hasn't played it give it a purchase.
We as gamers should support games like this that do something different and tell unique stories.
I agree that if the game keeps me engaged then I don't care how long it is. And I also agree I've played games that dragged on so long that I just never cared to finish the story.
I feel like open world games can get away with a longer campaign or story because there is usually so much to see or explore, that I truly get lost in the sheer depth of the world and don't mind. But- Open world games also plain OVERWHELM me sometimes too Haha. It's a love hate-...
Honestly screw their profit margins. Some of these companies have made literally hundreds and even close to thousands of dollars from a single consumer over the course of a decade with sequels, DLC, and remasters/remakes.
Make truly good games and they will do well and make More than enough to be profitable without worrying so much about your cost as a company.
Maybe that's the exact reason MS isn't doing any Series X Exclusive games yet and is instead making it all cross gen for about 2 years.
No matter what, at the end of the day, these new machines should be able to do some pretty awesome things once devs have gotten over the learning curves.
