Good point. I'd rather games take their time.
Game pass IS a good deal tho.
One That has only become an even better deal with time. That could change one day, but I don't really see that happening to be honest.
MS knows this is their future and have doubled down on what the value is, now that subscription will have Xcloud bundled in.
Still better than World of Warcraft, which used to charge 15 bucks a month AND have 30-60 dollar "expansions" on top of it. This is the way the industry is going.
I'm not the most thrilled about the direction some games go, and I am not the biggest SoT fan, but I'll give it credit where it's due. It is a much better game now and definitely a good way to see some pretty sights and plunder with friends.
So if the rumors are true, and MS gets rid of the XBL paywall, and Sony keeps the paywall, then what will you be saying?
Also, using the games to compell people to sign up for a subscription, sounds kinda similar to using exclusives to sell a console.
The companies are businesses after all. So sorry, can you remind me what the big deal is?
Same. Ps4 and Switch just don't get used that much. Just when I feel like doing something different.
Smug? Or knows how to save it for a blowout presentation later?
@Pyro
Halo Infinite's Budget is supposedly 500 million dollars
Titanfall 1's MP was a fantastic experience. Better than the 2nd game.
Also, this is the 2nd Warner Bros sale within a month. But this one includes better stuff than the 1st sale!
I think MS bought WB Games to be quite Honest.
Exactly this kind of thinking... no wonder people fight to the death about boxes all day.
It's an extension of their ego validation and a new channel for their inferiority complexes and penis envy.
Fair enough. Now if Thursday is a bang out success, then will you and those Sony brats (not saying you are a Sony brat) calm down and be positive for once?
Same REASON Valhalla is probably gonna struggle to reach 60 fps if at all, yet other games that look better than Valhalla will have Zero issue.
Devs do what they do I suppose, right?
Oh shut the hell up dude. That is like 2016 stuff.
Thursday is the day we find out if you guys can keep bitching or if you need to back off, for a good 3 or 4 years.
Not everyone wants to play on a PC like you tho. You do, and that works for you and there's nothing wrong with that.
MS has decided to not exclude you and you should be glad you don't even NEED to spend money on a new box really. Think about that instead of bitching that you aren't being forced to buy something maybe?
@ fiveby9 that is cuz it was a mid gen refresh, cost 500 bucks, and xbox had the same set of relatively weak 1st party software as the XB1.... soooooo, of COURSE there was little change to market share.
This is different. This is a new gen, a fresh start opportunity where xbox have committed to being what they should have been the entire time.
And it starts out keeping the people with a tight budget and still on XB1 in mind.
Mark my words, if Thursday ends...
Handicap Walrus here to tell you that we are all very special.
Look freaking dumb as hell.
Oh well There's gotta be Some bad among the good I suppose.
As long as nothing looks on par with retarded ass Bugsnax then I'll feel relieved.
That was for 3rd party devs tho. Duh!
@yomfweeee
Obviously more is more. You and I, and many others do realize that obviously more is more, right? That was not my point, to dispute the obvious... duh.
And obviously studios benefit from straight up sales most of all.
I'm not defending game pass right now.
I fully admitted that Average active users would be a better number for us to see than just "15 million players" so what is the point of even disagreeing with any of what I said?...
Forza's In engine effects looked much better than GT7 across the board.
If the gameplay in Forza looks even close to that, I'll be more than happy.
