For best overall image quality, many things come into play, not just higher framerate, or resolution... this is why I play skyrim on max settings but keep anisotropic filtering down under 2x so my items and Khajiit characters aren't rendered see-through sometimes. Yes. Looks jaw-dropping-ly beautiful, and to be honest, if the game actually looks this good, and runs this well, it will have by far the best graphics I've seen on a console. Just the Up close shots of the Alien lets me see more detail than we typically get to see in the movies, and by far more detail than we've ever seen in ANY of the alien games. and the edges of everything is Smooth, and hardly any polygons can even be seen.

So where the hell do you not see the fact that it is a BETA? and the textures have been halved down to allow better gameplay during the beta period, there is insiders saying the polish will be there in the final version when they turn on the higher textures, better lighting, AA and so forth. Kill zone is already out, and has nothing to do with this game, and nobody wants to keep their copy, but this game has millions of people excited, and not just people with an xbox one.

Go do some research about the textures, Twilight x7 put a link down there, you should read it. Textures are being halved, so expect at least twice as beautiful textures in the real game, if not more on certain things being rendered.
