When you play these games, you get that delicious taste in your mouth that says, I see what they are/ were going for with this, I like it, and it can only get better!

You dug way too deep with that comment. Microsoft hasn't paid any of us fans of the game to say it's good. It may or may not have paid press, media, or gaming websites to pad their reviews, but honestly, if that's in question, then ALL games on ALL platforms fall under the same suspicion or scrutiny.
Even Indie games could see it as beneficial to get a good review from IGN, or Gamespot, or Polygon, etc. I could easily see an Indie dev, with some left over incentive money/...

I agree with you. But I also agree with the fact that people can be offended if they feel offended. Sometimes, that feeling of being offended is just the knee-jerk reaction. And in those scenarios, I recommend discretion, or not letting it affect you if possible...Like you were saying.
But it's the other side of the same coin to remember that just because we can choose to ignore bigotry, or ignorance, doesn't mean we should exclusively disregard...
There is supposed to be external HDD support coming soon, I'm sure we'll hear about it at E3, if not sooner.

It shouldn't matter that much even IF it existed. If a game remains 97% identical to the same game you can play elsewhere, or on a different system, with or without better graphics, then go for which ever seems more like what you want. But Don't cry about graphics or parity when you're only whining about that 3 OR LESS percent that you didn't see or get with _______ version of a game.
Do it. I Love Far Cry 3. It's so giant and has so much to do and see. Beautiful game world if I ever did play in one, and the animals to hunt will sometimes attack you when you are busy trying to kill another human, and it scares the shit out of me every time! And the water, the sharks, komodo dragons, cassowary, and tigers make for a never dull game that is still impressive to this day.
I agree. The Ps4 is probably the FIRST thing they've ever made that isn't over-priced. Which is good! Especially considering how the price was good and fair AT LAUNCH, and can only get better.

It's just dumb to own two instead of having all the systems/exclusives.
I'm not talking about when people buy the re-designs, I can understand the point of buying those, but not two of the exact same thing without good reason. A handheld device makes sense, since it really only works in one set of hands, but two of the exacct same console (unless it's broken or a re-design)is just dumb.

I do however think that even if the XB1 became more comparable with either resolutions/frame rate, Games with Gold, and/or a kinectless sku, we would still have people bashing MS for a whole new list of reasons. It's like people want the XB1 to be a "Better Value" but then even if those changes were made, many folks would still be nit-picking the crap out of MS and the XB1, and all of it's exclusives.

Umm, did you see how smooth and pretty that looked? Maybe the animations for the raptors were a bit stiff, but the ps3 could NEVER run a game with this good of graphics THIS smoothly. And considering Cryengine 3 has ALREADY been on PS3, then tell me, how well does it compare to the xbox and PC versions? it is sub-par to both of them, especially the PC!!! And, you can definitely bet that the frame rate would have to be less, on PS3, AND the resolution would be hammered even more than the frame...

People who play on xbox are used to paying for online gaming since the original xbox. We're done crying about it. We've BEEN done crying for a decade now, and we honestly weren't even the ones complaining about it in the first place. It's YOU GUYS who pulled some kind of value out of something we already know and love. We support our console without bitching about every damn thing that happens every damn time for every damn reason. We enjoy playing games.

You CANNOT get to 130 in Halo 4 faster than ONE prestige in BO2... You may have got bored of it, but you either didn't really play to Level 130, or your just spouting nonsense.
Matchmaking in halo takes WAY longer, and it's hard to get a higher xp score than 3500 on Halo 4 even if you do most of the work on your team. Yes you can complete all the challenges you want, but the challenges aren't limited to JUST multiplayer, some are in campaing.. but there's not ...
Actually, you are SO worng. So so wrong it's not even funny. While I will agree that Nvidia and AMD wanna make as much money as possible, DX12 stands as presented to actually INCREASE people's performance WITHOUT upgrading. That's the whole point of this feature being mentioned, is that it will IMPROVE people's existing set up by enabling all the cores that were previously INACTIVE, or were relying on ONE CORE to do most of the work.

I agree with you. Almost 100 % identical. But in addition to the thing you mentioned, If you look at the last shot where it shows the close-up on the crosshair dot, the ps4 one is more aliased, and less sharp.
Most of the pictures and items in the world also had a 1-2% sharper portrayal on the xb1 version.
I sometimes wonder if it's been harder to get games to run 1080p on XB1 because it ACTUALLY does a more true representation of 1080p, and maybe the PS4 blurs or...
