Stop being in denial, man. Lost planet 2 looks great but when I looked at those images I clearly saw not only textural flaws but the seams were showing of the plantlife in the background. MT Frameworks is a great engine but it can't do what the Naughty Dog engine can, nor the Deferred Shader engine for KZ2. This, in my opinion is not because of 360 hardware but mostly because even the MT Frameworks Engine only meets the 360 hardware halfway so that games can be multiplatformed easily to th...
It's like the cherry on the top a sundae, since PS3 has been outselling Wii in Japan for like several months and now the players are reaping the benefits. Good job Sony. Another company that will remain nameless could learn a thing or two about releasing games.
Crysis B*tch slaps the hell out of Killzone 2. And Halo's MP b*tch slaps the hell out of Killzone 2 after that. Killzone 2 may be a "better" game but only because PS3 fanboys are quick to play the part of the victim. Half of you idiots who come online and talk about how great Killzone 2 is haven't even purchased the game. You guys are just here to defend the console it's on. If you want to support the PS3, try going out and buying one of their games instead of sitting at your s...
I was in high school a year ago and it is one of those computer-oriented schools that have hundreds of computers. For some reason we had both Apples and PCs and don't even get me started on the problems that caused. I usually trust MACs but those Apple Desktops (They were high end ones too) were pieces of crap. Every program always took half an hour to load, especially Photoshop CS3, and it wasn't just one of those Apples, a lot of them had that problem. And I remember using Word on the A...
You are the purest definition of Sony fanboy I have ever read from. Automatically, as if a rat smelling garbage, you crawled out of your slime-infested, self-righteous hole to run your mouth about trifles irrelevant to this article. Sure, no one gives a crap about this movie game, but no one actually gives a crap about the overtime PR you are doing for Sony. But of course, I see your supporters will be here to fight the good fight with you. What you need to understand is that no matter ho...
Last Gen Microsoft made a very big mistake. They did not have enough 3rd party support and had limited 1st party support when compared to the Sony PS2. Microsoft realized that Sony had two things right. Sony had both a lot of 1st party support and a lot of 3rd party support, and the original xbox had neither. if you don't believe me, compare libraries of both consoles.
Let's fast forward to 2005. Microsoft realized something very important and that was that it needed to get ...
I just realized how these consoles have basically become the machines of choice for pedophiles. They can talk to little kids online and play games with them, store child porn on the consoles, invite little kids over for 'parties'. That's just creepy. And this article might become another godsend for Sony fanboys who want to bash the 360 base. I predict another article on N4G soon enough. "Xbox 360 users are perverted old Men" or "Xbox 360 users like to Jump In with Minors...
Come on guys, you have to admit that the real time shooting of fallout 3 is probably the best you've ever seen. It's so responsive. I mean, you just aim at the guys head and shoot and the bullet hits him exactly where you aimed. It doesn't hit the ground about a foot away from him like all of those other broken games. And if you want a good story, jeez, you know its got to be gears of war. I mean, all those other games rely on bulky, muscular grunting killing machines that only say cheez...
It's sad but true.
I guess we should already be calling warhawk and uncharted classics now? The only game that pops out into your mind when considering the xbox 360 is halo 3 because it is in a league of its own when it comes to success, but in reality, there are plenty of other games on the xbox and the xbox 360 that were also worth playing. I'm sure you don't think of games like Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, one of the best RPGs Bioware ever made, and maybe better than Mass Effect, another awesome ...
The first AC is great but annoying because it's always day, as far as I've played it, so its gonna be great to play during the night, because we all know, assassin's work mostly during the night.
DID YOU GUYS KNOW YOU CAN SEE THE IMAGES IF AFTER YOU CLICK THE THUMBNAIL, ANOTHER LINK COMES UP AND ITS LIKE IN ITALIAN OR SOMETHING AND INSIDE A BOX.. ""VISITA WWW.MONOBOX.COM" OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT AND THE IMAGE LOADS LARGER.
About fighting the Brumak on foot. I've never even played Gears of War and I knew about the PC version. Anyways, I kind of like and hate Epic Games at the same time because they made a decent engine, but they became very spoiled off of it and I feel like that's made them a bit arrogant. I'd rather they made a custom engine for either the 360 or the PS3 to take full advantage of the power, but I guess they're content making a killing off the UE3.
That one made me laugh like crazy. It's so pointless. Why doesn't he have a cappuccino maker built into him? How come he doesn't shoot lasers? How come he has that annoying voice that always warns of impending doom, with those retarded pauses in his sentences -----> "Cortana....no.....the Covenant...I...we...need your help to stop them....*farts**looks off into the distance*"
Actually, there's a million questions I could ask.
1. How come he doesn't ...
The theater mode and the forge mode are very fun, but usually only a certain group of people tend spend a lot of time forging maps on halo rather than playing the mp, and as for theater I think its cool that players can show each other all the crazy things they've done rather than describe it like for halo 2, but nevertheless, these features don't add much to the gameplay in my opinion. I would rather Bungie focus on three things in the single player: 1) the story, 2) the graphics, and 3) t...
I used to trust IGN a lot because as a budget gamer, I cannot afford to buy a game that gets only lukewarm reviews (I want to get the most out of my money), and since I've known of IGN for like 10 years, I thought they were legit and unbiased. I took a chance and bought assassin's creed on my 360 a couple of weeks ago. It only cost 30 bucks but still, and I gotta say, I like it a lot, and it deserved higher than a 7.7 from IGN US. Seriously, the mechanic for AC was nearly perfect, and the ...
I don't know who is in the wrong here. Activision makes a pretty good claim because they say they had once overpaid Valve by 400,000 bucks, and the douche "arbiter" had awarded Valve 2 million bucks from Activision and refused to hear out Activision about the 400,000 bucks they had overpaid Valve. On the other hand, Activision still chose to agree to whatever the arbiter would say and so they should pay the 2 million bucks and just be done with it. But on another note, Gabe shoul...
Quick question: What will happen if the PS3 or the 360 releases a very awesome exclusive game in the next year, something unprecedented, something new? You see, all of you douchebags are here playing sales and specs, so none of you really even think about that. It's not about the games for most of you, it's about being right, which clearly, you all seem to think is the best thing in the world. I mean, do you MS fanboys really want Sony to be crushed? Do you want your only option in the c...
I think the main reason why reviewers gave Halo 3 such high marks is because during this gen people are so afraid that sequels will be garbage, and when halo 3 came out, it wasn't garbage and was actually better than Halo 2 in every way except for the gameplay. The graphics were better but the game was exactly the same IMO. So, instead of criticizing the game for not bringing anything new to the table, the reviewers gave it high scores because to criticize it would be hypocritical in a sens...
Seriously, even though you can hack the 360, it doesn't somehow make the 360 suck, it just makes the guys who hack it to cheat with it douchebags. I can't believe you can criticize the 360 for not having more security. Who cares? Do you blame the liquor store owner who gets robbed or do you convict the guy who robbed him?
