I'm serious. I know 29 billion dollars sounds like a lot of money, but most of it has to be reinvested into RND and, marketing, covering for losses in failed ventures (yes, Apple fails too) and basically, Apple really doesn't have any identity with games or gamers. Even the Apple computer has trouble matching the library of games that Windows based PCs deliver, so how can you expect this company to just wing it and break into an industry with such a high barrier to entry, and lets not forge...
The PGR series was great but the fourth was not as good, so what was MS supposed to do? Forza 1 and 2 promised better physics-based simulation so MS chose that franchise to compete with GT. I'm not saying that Forza is better than GT, it's not, but MS has to pick and choose its battles, so it had to choose Forza over PGR. I think MS is starting to shift to casual so I'm not really going to hold my breath about where its going. It seems that once again PS3 is prevailing, maybe not in sales...

I'm a fairly incompetent FPS player on consoles but hand me a mouse and I can pwn like the rest of them. It just goes to show that 10 years of practice by basically using a computer, I can aim and click like nobody's business. That's pretty much why PC fanboys come online and say FPS is meant only on PC; they can't stand the fact that what they thought was skill was actually a cheap and simple method known as the mouse pointer.

You love or hate a company based on why they do what they do? If MS is just trying to slow down PS3 sales in Japan the I can't praise MS because as a gamer I care more about what my console is sporting rather than what another console isn't sporting. While the 360 is great, MS refuses to support the audience which made the xbox a popular platform. I got excited when I read the title of the article. I thought MS was buying a first party studio to create better games, but no, MS is so arrogant right now that they think they have left PS3 in the dust and are moving on to capture the Nintendo audience. And people say Sony was arrogant. I've been waiting years and years for the prices of LCD and plasma televisions to go down, and then suddenly a new type, and people are saying it's better. I rented gears 2 and I liked it but never got to finish the campaign because college sucks, no more explanation necessary. i never played the mp but from what i hear it's really damaged in some areas, except horde mode. so, ya, i guess what im saying is that even though it was a great game, i think epic deserves a fair share of criticism for not completely redoing the mp because the first one was good. bring on title updates and fix the mp and then maybe i will buy the game. if not, then ...
