The DLC was nice and fun.
the only significant problem is its length. You could finish it in a hour or hour and half. Of course, you could replay it again for alternative results.
but hey, its not that expensive. If you want more of mass effect, I think you will enjoy it. If you want the real deal, wait for ME3.
I liked the FF13 battle system. But here is the real reasons why it is not a successful FF game:
- The story is very shallow and weak compared to previous FF titles.
- After about four hours of playing, the characters don't really get any further development. Actually, some of them get very annoying (Vanille and Hope).
- No sense of exploration or exciting side quests. You do not find ancient villages or interesting places aside from the ones in the main p...

I don't understand why people preferred ME1 side quests! The Moon mission for example was boring and it had you walk through similar rooms doing similar things over and over. Now go and compare that to Thane's son mission!

Both are good. The only difference is that ME2 feels "more focused" than ME1 which tried to include more features but the developers could not perfect it.
As usual, they are going to make exclusive deals with a multi-platform game and secure some DLCs to spoil the joy for the rest of the fans who aren't getting their version.
I think they are already trying to secure deals with BioWare (Mass Effect 3) or Bethesda (Skyrim).
They have been doing this for each E3 and I would be really surprised if they actually financed and developed a new exclusive that can stand with Halo/Gears.
I think it is called beta because of:
1. They are releasing the same beta build they were using in the previous months.
This usually happen because sometimes making a demo is very costly and if they think the old build of the game is a good representation, they may just put it as demo and reduce any unnecessary development costs.

I totally agree with you. We need more Jedi Knight games with the badass lightsaber action with useful force powers and puzzles.
LucasArts should pay respect to their fans wishes. They are still developing games we 'old lucasarts fans' never asked/cared for. They just wasted money and resources on Lego games, Fracture, that carnival game and even Force Unleashed. They could have at least made us JK with UNREAL engine or continue BF3, KOTOR3 or Republic Commando 2!
Guys can anyone confirm that it will support local co-op (split-screen)? I was disappointed with Double Agent when it did supported ps2 split-screen and the 360 version did not!
If you are bored from these games on your list then DON'T buy them!
You might did not notice but since we got in this new generation, it brought with it new IPs (Gears of War, Uncharted, Assassin's Creed, Modern Warfare). It is not like you are restricted to buy old franchises!

silent characters totally depend on how the developer use them. On half life side, it actually makes you blend within the game atmosphere and it is funny when you hear other friendly NPCs making all the decisions and judgments for you :D
on other games like BioShock or Dead Space I think they should have added the voice for the character. Developer thinks a protagonist should be silent in order to blend in the atmosphere but that is not the case. ...
inFamous 1 was great and sure 2 would be awesome if they added some new super powers :D

XBOX topped the ps1 and all what they talked about XBOX is halo this halo that. Actually Halo was not invented for XBOX. Microsoft bought Bungie to secure Halo on xbox. And you can't top ps1 because of Halo!

you can't just stop a series with so much involved storyline for a long period. Now instead, they are making Old Republic MMO game which is cool and going to be unique in certain aspects but still why don't they first complete the main series plot ??

Hard bosses aren't bad. Easy ones are lame and worst. That's why bosses are titled "Boss". :p
And I don't really mind if the boss is being unfair on you like Tekken's 5 boss. It actually give you more challenge and that is what is missing in this generation :(
Of course I exclude rpgs bosses. I hate it when you reach a boss and you just discover you are just in a very low level and you need to go level up.... I hope next ff games indicate your low leve...

I can't really judge whether I love or hate the changes in Max Payne 3 until I see footage of it or actually play it.
Rockstar did really good with Red Dead Redemption so I hope whatever they are doing with Max Payne 3 will turn out to be good.
