If he can't endure what his readers think about him then he should not keep writing. A writer should accept what other people think without an attitude. You trying to win your readers' trust, not going in a war against them!
Also, giving a perfect mark or a very low mark is a high risk. You just raised a lot of expectations and if one's standard did not meet his high expectations, it will produce a disappointing experience hence that person will assume you just l...
I just hope it is not a "team deathmatch" type of online. I would welcome any innovative online feature. (e.g. Demon's Souls)
I agree with some of the choices ... I guess it could be a good idea to replace Anderson with Fishburne and Kaiden could be shifted to a badass action actor
But I guess Joker should stay Seth Greene and for Commander Shepard, Matthew Fox (Jack Shepard from Lost) would be a fine choice. He has the look and he was a "leader" in all of Lost's episodes.
And who knows, ME Movie could have different characters, or even alternative plot because it is...
I agree with the list even though there aren't many games that took heavy influence from BioShock (I just can think of Fallout 3)
However, he could have added Medal of Honor since it made war genre popular and specially WWII era. As far as I remember, FPS was all about shooting monsters or gore before I witnessed the first medal of honor on PS1.
Also, Thief was the first FPS to include stealth elements like sounds, shadows and a very smart AI (at that tim...
MS do this because they want to use the word "exclusive" in their media press. It is just to get attention.
So this would work with casual gamers who are still getting news from magazines or TV. For us, hardcores or gamers with awareness of whats going on, does not really make a difference which version to get since we understand it is only timed and a matter of 30 days to get it.
dont judge from the graphics shown. judge from the capabilities of the engine and we haven't seen much in-action.
BTW, even nowadays, we have games running on old engines such as id tech 3 (quake 3) and unreal 2. Because these engines are flexible in increasing their graphics capabilities but limited to some degree.
UNREAL is a commercial engine and it is too strong and provides alots of features because the engine will be used for lots of game types an...
People who hate steam argue that it is because of frequent updates. I dunno why don't they just set it as OFFLINE MODE and ignore all steam's online features.
John, one of the most influential developers in the world, talks with the interviewer for like 20 minutes and all what he got out of him is this? and he hoped from him to mention the dreamcast?
Dude, John Carmack invents technologies and improves them. He is not a fanboy to a hardware and he is not one of those developers who uses other's engines to create games.
I am not really surprised. Blizzard is really slow when it comes to releasing games. Which is weird when compared to their sister company, Activision, which releases a new CoD every year.
Let's just hope it gets a release date next year.
It is like criticizing GT for having realistic driving mechanism, realistic races events and bitching how complicated it is to drift and in the process say how a burnout game is better and much easier.
I do not know what is the point of your article. I entered expecting indepth analysis and I come up with three unnecessary reasons. If you don't find it fun, other people will.
Wow guys most of you did not even see the video
All what I can say is you have been trolled with the headline because the video is a joke.
For the skill debate, it is not downgraded or dumped down. In fact, I think they upgraded it only if you look at it in different way.
First of all, we got perks which expands your current skills and I am sure there will be lots of them. the good thing is, it is not possible to acquire all perks in one character so the game will force you to replay it again with a different gameplay style to gain missed perks.
Secondly, we got Dragon Shouts and those really lo...
my Avast anti-virus warned me of a maleware script threat when I entered the source site. Is it just me or the site is not safe?
Nice article. I hope the folk who wrote "5 Reasons to purchase gears over uncharted" will read it
whats this talk about comfort and big tv stuff? this is elder scroll we are talking about here, not some JRPG with hours of cutscenes
this is easy: if you already have a powerful pc then you really don't give a damn about the console versions. if you are no fan of PC, then you probably don't own the hardware requirements and you're getting the console version anyway.
and it is not just about higher res or clean graphics. you also got the issue of ...
Yeah BF3 was in making for something like 5 years and its just a teaser for maybe one and a half year MoH game
I dont think the xmb fits right with touch screens
But I don't disagree. XMB is now an old UI and Sony may leave it behind for a new UI with higher usability and highly integrated with web services since the XMB wasn't designed with internet activities in mind and we all know that Sony is in the cloud thing nowadays like Google and Microsoft are.
I just hope they don't cut content and present it as DLCs later like what they did with some Oblivion DLCs and Fallout. They should go back to Morrowind style and provide big expansions (Bloodmoon & Tribunal)
she is the one who did the commentary on ME2 trailers
such as this one
I hate CoD because it started to repeat its formula with little improvement to be made.
The single player is the only thing now that interest me in playing the next CoD. But we can already assume it will be another 5-7 hours and we can't guarantee how good it can be "it will be dependent on story-telling and the action, not game's mechanic"
