Putting MGS on mobiles is equivalent to putting action movies on mobiles instead of Blurays
Dude, why do you want an immersive game on a platform that you use it on-the-go? Do you want to create an addictive game? Go ahead just don't use MGS name because it just won't fit.
The graphics do have potential to look better but obviously it looks rushed, specially the animations.
I also did not like the stealth. Why are there citizens walking freely around the gangs restricted area? Why are they not interacting with me killing a gang member? Why the gang member is holding a gun against my ally and does not move at all! It really takes away the realism the series has tried to put.
It is obvious why Konami and Kojima are conflicting
Where Kojima is driven by technology and game design challenges as well as his big ambitions to make his games as big as Hollywood movies, Konami is turning its head toward where the easy money is flowing. They probably want things like Flappy Bird or Angry Bird, where costs to develop are so minimum and profit is gigantic.
I hope Kojima used these remaining months to wrap up loose ends on the MGS saga and ...
All this whining over these missing features is just pure BS.
First of all, you all should be grateful because this is the first legit Star Wars game I can recall since Republic Commando.
Missing space battles? You still can fight on planets. Just like the first BF1 if I recall right. So you still gonna have fun flying around.

I am an Arab gamer (specifically from Saudi Arabia) and I like the concept.

While sure the PS2 did win the last gen nobody disagrees with that but however put into consideration how pirated the PS2 was. Sure in the US you probably won't see console piracy such a big deal but countries like where I live in (Saudi Arabia and the middle east) both of the PS1 and PS2 were heavily pirated consoles. I seen people having their PS2 broken and since piracy voids the warranty, they go and buy another ps2. After all, it is not a big price to pay since all games were pirated...
I am thinking it will be either:
- Star Wars 1313 since it was already in the works and not totally confirmed as cancelled. The concept looked too great to be scrapped.
- Jedi Knight series, since it is popular and expandable. Also there is hardly a competitor for Jedi Knight so if done right, you got yourself huge profit.
For Republic Commando, I doubt that because DICE are already doing Battlefront 3 and Visceral Games have done mostly 3rd person ga...
Are console gamers really finding Diablo 3 graphics great?
I had it on my PC max settings, and frankly it is disappointing.
I believe if you are involved in technology development (think R&D of big companies like Epic/Actavision/Valve etc) then it is fairly logical to have a futuristic hardware to develop on, so whenever gamers have this kind of power in 2-4 years, there is a technology already created for it :)
Otherwise, developers such as Epic usually develop their next-gen engines using multiple cards. Now imagine what can they achieve with this beast in SLI xD
Actually the Tesla/Quadro are more useful for realtime 3d applications like 3D modeling applications. Movie studios and architects benefit greatly from them.
But in the case of a game developer, a Quadro won't simply run your game better than even a 780 because game rendering is much different and it require GeForce or Radeon. So yeah, this is actually can be aimed at programmer as well :)
Guys read carefully. It says Montreal's Hitman was cancelled (which could be a reboot). IO's not. We should expect a new Hitman in the future from IO as usual.
I am glad that Hitman will stay with IO. I don't want to see a "different" take on Hitman. I just want IO to look at their whole series and this time just take what has worked and leave out what didn't. Me? I will be just happy with Jesper Kyd on board!
Well IMO the console ratings aren't important. All what you need in the review is to read if there are fault designs such as uncomfortable gamepad, noisy cd drive and heat. While there are some faulty launch consoles, I am glad that there are no big issues, other than long installs which I see that should be something of the past.
As for "is it the right choice?" just look at what do you play. It is pretty expected what kind of games to be found on the xbox side...

The title is a bit misleading - he only responded jokingly which is true that wherever he went in that industry, bad things did happen. And he do say he has no problems if some games are made based on his works and he can be involved in some ways so he has no complete hate on the gaming industry.
I would really really love if Kojima and Del Toro join again and see them work out a horror game again. Let us hope some big publishers step in and revive their work again.
