I've spent over 60 hours on Fable 2 and 100 hours on Fallout 3. When it comes down to it though Fable 2 was more enjoyable for me.
IMO Bioware is the single greatest western rpg developer ever. Baldur's Gate, KOTOR, Jade Empire, Mass Effect all utterly fantastic. And every game they make is better than the last one. This will be awesome!
Frikin awesome game.
Great review. Unbelievably great game.
Might not suck
This happened to me by accident. It was pretty cool.
Wasn't this already posted a week or so ago?
I played for a few hours yesterday and I thought it really didn't have the polish or as good graphics as CoD4. I do like that they changed the sounds and feel of the WWII weapons from 3, I'm lovin the new shotgun. In fact I really love the close quarters class. Tanks in this suck though. I loved them in 3 because all you needed was one or two rockets, but it does take more this time AND the bazooka realoads frikin slow!
I am officially in love with Fable II. I want to marry it and start a long, noble bloodline of half gamer, half dvd hybrids. I'm sorry but it's true. We will live a long happy life where I will do most of the talking.
Why does Bethesda have to release Fallout 3 just a week after Fable 2? For God's sakes there are only so many hours in the day to play quality RPGs.
Mmmmm.... Fable 2 goodness. Monday can't come soon enough.
I want to know what you have to do to become the horned demon that they show in the ads. Is that "evil" but also "pure", meaning "pure evil"? Or do you have to be completely corrupt and evil? Anyone know?
Oh.. Look at my avatar and you'll know what I'm talking about.
I completely agree with the feeling of warmth. I definitely felt like I was watching a classic feel-good Christmas movie from inside a cozy home. It's very appealing.
I CAN'T WAIT! :)
Um, is it next week yet?
How about now?
What about now?
Dammit whats taking next week so long to get here!
I'm sorry but that was a stupid article, and it had a very deceiving title. All it basically did was list skills and say things like "play in first or third-person perspective". Is that what you call something you can't wait to try? I'm drooling in anticipation of Fallout 3, and when you dangle an article that says "50 awesome things to try in the game" and then say "not really, we're just going to list what we read on the game description", it pisses me off. ...
My initial reaction was to be pissed too. But they reduced the price $10 and are still going to include bonus content which you may or may not be able to download normally (at least at first). Didn't Soul Calibur IV do something like that? I'm sure they realized that this would make a lot of people upset and wouldn't do it unless they had to.
I'm more concerned that this might start fueling a negative opinion trend towards Lionhead or the game that I don't think they deserve. I'm...
I never cared for GoW. It's all Fable 2 for me. And then after that Fallout 3.
I absolutely agree with everything you just said. I've been looking forward to this game for so long. From the previews I've been reading it looks like it PM will actually deliver on his claims this time. I'm looking forward to trying playthroughs with as many different combinations of character types as possible. Good, evil, pure, corrupt, strength, will, man, woman, pregnant etc. I can't wait.
?
It sounds like it could be really great fun.
