Something about the way the author writes is very nice. Very well thought out. Oh, and the game is crazy awesome too.
Did anyone else catch the great Futurama reference?
Tuesday can't come fast enough. To quote one of the most profound intellects of the 20th century: "Happy Happy Joy Joy, Happy Happy Joy".
Loved the Princess Bride reference thrown in at the end.
I am so looking forward to this! I really hope the sales for the game do well considering what shooter is just around the corner.
I totally agree with you. The weirdest part is that I actually think the graphics from Jade Empire are better, or at least more aesthetically pleasing, than what I've seen from Dragon Age. But I'm still gonna buy it.
I loved Jade Empire. There were so many different ways to play it I probably played it 10 times. To this day my two all time favorite videogame character names are still "Sir Roderick Ponce Von Fontlebottom the Magnificent Bastard" and "Egregious Provaricator, respected scholar and grower of pipe weed". I don't know why it's so frequently skipped over when people list Bioware's great games.
Impressive. Most impressive.
It looks awesome :)
People eating tasty animals
Can't wait to play it.
Looks awesome. I'm really hoping that it turns out as good as it looks.
The leaping around during the boss fight made it look easy. This could actually be a lot of fun.
Happy happy joy joy happy happy Joy. Happy happy joy joy happy happy Joy.
I really do. Because in my opinion they are game-making Gods. They are the best. I am so looking forward to this.
I'm definitely excited about this one.
ME was and is still one of the best written, acted and beautiful produced rpgs I've ever played. It is a masterpiece. That is not an opinion, it is a fact. It is also a fact that nothing is perfect. Any and all games have areas that can be improved up on. Mass Effect happens to excel in almost every one of it's components, but can, and I'm sure will be improved and further evolved in it's sequels. That is what storytelling is all about. And for western rpgs Bioware happens be the best at it. ...
Those are all good points. I guess I'm just remembering the overall experience. I had those same quibbles back then too. I guess it was so cinematic that I'd pretty much forgotten.
Maybe I'm alone here but I thought it was another fantastic Bioware gem, so much that I played it twice in a row. I didn't notice any outstanding problems with it at all. I won't go as far a saying the author is nitpicking - maybe this is even the general consensus of the game, but it seems to me that these are very minor flaws in an otherwise epic sci-fi rpg.
Awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome!!! Can't wait, want it NOW! *drool*
