It helps, but no you don't really need to. Better off watching gameplay on youtube. Not too much watching in my opinion.
Yes, if it's visual fidelity from the new rendering features in Dx12, then no doubt it should be a gorgeous game performing very smoothly. Scale, high texture detail at 60 frame rates should be amazing!
Yeah the feature is laggy, but no doubt it'll increase in performance overtime. I use it occasionally when I really need it.
I highly doubt that matters, it was a core design of XOne. The problem here with this specific article is that now it's a game changer. But it's an opinionated article so it doesn't matter.
Really, who cares. ID@Xbox already has great games. Wouldn't be surprsied coming E3 Microsoft launches some ID@Xbox games during the conference.

This is specifically for developers with development worktime. Developers can have a more personal development process with playing the game and coding it at the same time. Fine tuning the game significantly. This should be a huge benefit to indie developers.
Seems like they stopped development on Illumiroom and took the Kinect and put it around your face instead, lol!
EH?
Thanks, yet no opinion? Aahhh, n4g commentators.
I have no faith in VR console games, especially from indie developers. Only platform is PC that can push VR significantly, but overall I like that Sony is making it relevant.
Yes, and it has to have something unique to it just like MCC with the whole graphical switch feature. That was pretty unqiue and amazing in it's difference. I hope they add some cool effects and unique multiplayer features to make it new and worth buying. If it's just a resolution and frame rate bump it shouldn't be charged at full price then.
No doubt new State of Decay, they just released a remaster so it only makes sense they'll be showcasing what State of Decay is suppose to be, given the last one was a huge successful beta.

Desperate?
First, no one here claimed it to be better than PS4 hardware wise, and second you're the one on a XOne article defending the ps4? So if anyone here desperate it's the Sony defense force here proving that desperation.
XOne will get a perf increase, but not as impactful because it's too early. But no doubt Dx12's exclusive rendering features will bug a huge feature for game developers designing games on PC and XOne. But for no only first party, games. Last I read the only beneifts will be likely for lighting and open world textures.
Have you tried driving to where you live? If so how similar is it?
Geez, haven't heard much from this game. Does anyone here even play it?!
I didn't know Crackdown is releasing this year?! 0.o
Either way wouldn't mind seeing some actual gameplay of whatever they're doing with it and hope it doesn't end up being some Frankenstein of a development harzard. ;D
Why not recreate a whole new engine? All it has been are "tossed in" gameplay mechnaics with the gamepaly overall still functioning with arcadish mechanics. UI is still too clunky and is over done with it's graphics design. I find Fifa's UI much better, only offering you the information you need and allowing you to access games and features quickly. They're trying so hard to mimick the NFL's graphics design. The only thing going for Madden so far is the brand and EA&...

They're indeed at a loss, but no doubt they'll do fine. Still a lot of XOne owners out there and the Live community is very active along with software sells doing very well even with the console deficit in comparison to PS4. Once the main titles launch it'll further establish it'self. But I'm glad Microsoft is being competitive, simply because they have the capacity to.
@hay
I know exactly what you mean, it's the developers of Shift so you'll kind of get use to it easy if you enjoyed their games. Personally I find it a lil' annoying but overall driving is exceptional.
