The single player is great but this damn infinite loading glitch is killing me. Especially so soon after the game's release when there are only really quick versus levels up. The few games I've gotten into have been funny and fun but I always wind up getting kicked after a few minutes because that damn loading screen comes up and takes minutes to go away.
Thanks my friend, you're the bomb diggity or whatever the hip kids are saying these days.
The only other game I've played by these people (I think it's by them anyway) is Far cry 2 and that was a huge pile of crap but I have to say I am really looking forward to this one. I'm not even much of a shooter fan but this just looks like a pretty cool game.
I owned the Orange box on 360 a while back but recently rebought it for PS3 last week just as something to tide me over until LBP2 came out and... damn... what a game Half life 2 is, I'd forgotten just what an awesome and engrossing experience it was. Truly one of the best franchises of all time.
Anyone know when this comes out in the UK?? I want to catch the edition with Extraction without preordering if possible and since IGN went to shit I can't find accurate UK release dates for anything. Thanks in advance.
That's pretty damn cool lookin' for a phone game, still though, seems like an odd choice since Dead space is all about the immsersive experience, playing it in the dark with headphones and whatnot.
It depresses me that this is considered some crazy ancient forgotten historical device. I actually remember wanting this thing.
Of course it's the perfectly sane sports jock who'll kick the shit out of you at the local bar for accidentally making eye contact or 'dressing like a fag'.
Both you and this Skipper person below me mention how you can create 'your own minigames', this just shows you've either never even played LBP or are blinded by bias.
I can understand from the outside you'd imagine all the user created levels to be crappy little minigames and most youtube vids that get uploaded from the game do nothing to show otherwise. I myself didn't bother playing an online level until I'd had the game for about two weeks since I w...
I agree I would have liked to have seen a little more if only to show how it is actually an RPG but it does look really good. Great art direction.
I really hope this game lives up to it's potential. A good smart noir game would be amazing. I also hope they give us a good old movie filter that we can turn on in the options menu and play this thing with it looking like a classic Bogart film.
I wouldn't buy it full price. The world is big but it can seem very empty at points.
My main problem with it is that you have to do sidequests or travel around destroying random things in order to unlock each new story mission.
This would be fine normally but it takes a lot of side questing or a LOT of destruction to unlock each new story mission. The side quests are very cut and paste too. Imagine if GTA made you do two assassination or race side missions befo...
I'm glad we get this just so I can carry on the character I played ME1 as before my 360 got the 'Red ring of go buy a PS3'. I do plan to be a bit of a revisionist though and make believe that my character (SPOILERS) saved the purty girl rather than the most boring guy on Earth when I had to choose who survived, damn trickster game.
I like how the research scientist looks like a 2 dollah whore with a white lab coat on. You've gotta love the Japanese.
Thia is cool, a few moments of it really look like something out of Inception. In fact it's a little sad because it makes me think of all the cool mindwarping things that could be done in games but aren't due to fear of trying anything new/lack of imagination.
I have to admit I do want to try this thing out, if only so I can join a deep philosophical discussion and five minutes into it start miming masturbation while still casually discussing the issue.
I made it 54.7m by running on my knee and heel and I officially have no life.
Easily Kane and Lynch 2 for me, and I'm one of the few people who really liked the first one. Awful Awful sequel, just one long hide behind a box and shoot session with literally no break for three hours until the credits suddenly appear out of nowhere.
I can understand how anyone who hasn't actually played Uncharted 2 could think it was overrated. It doesn't really have any one thing you can point to and show why it's so damn good but once you play it you understand why it's so well loved.
In all my time of gaming since the days of the ZX Spectrum it's the most pure fun I've ever had with a game. It's just so pleasurable to play, it feels good to control, looks beautiful and there's never a lull...
I agree, it's disgusting. If Olivia Munn wants to climb the ladder I'll be the first one to stand at the bottom looking up and smiling.
