But he didn't say he didn't like the game. He said the game was bad and implied that everybody who claims to like the game is lying to seem intelligent.
'I found ICO boring personally, it just felt like one long protect mission' OKAY
'ICO was a shitty game and you only pretend you like it to seem intelligent and deep' ASSHOLIAN
Ah, the old, 'I don't get it so there must be nothing to get' argument. It's all a grand conspiracy of people just pretending to like something to seem deeper than you, the only other option is that they're actually deeper than you and that's just unthinkable isn't it???
I swear, this guy is the walking embodiment of every negative stereotype about gamers. Fat little negative creep trying to rationalize away the fact that he's spent his entire lif...
I did think Heavy rain's characters and plot were cheesy cliched straight to DVD movie material (which means they were a little bit better than most games) and I think there was a major problem with the 'every decision matters' thing. Namely that due to the type of story they wanted to tell, a huge number of the big seeming decisions or life or death moments were just lies and failing to make the right decision would not result in as major a change as they lead you to believe.
Skynet is created on LBP2 January 2011, it becomes self aware March 2011, in a panic it's creator tries to delete it and use the space to create a shark attack survival challenge, it fights back. January 2012, all but a small handful of humans are left to fight the armies of Skynet's mechanized sackboy robots.
Don't say I didn't warn you.
I think I would've liked this game more if I hadn't bought it just after buying the Sega genesis collection which had all the Shining force and 16 bit Phantasy star games on. While they're a little different in style to this game they gave me the retro fix I was looking for and are just generally better games.
Hmmmm, I can't see how it would be. My Xbox is broken.
I honestly respect that you're promoting tolerance Eamon but I have to say, if you think sexuality is a choice chances are you're bisexual.
I'm in no way homophobic but I couldn't choose to be gay for anything. I wouldn't take a penis inside me for a Billion dollars, well maybe a Billion but not a million ... well, no less than a million anyway, or a thousand at the least, or a hundred.
My point is, if I could just choose to be attracted to men ...
Holy shit, at least nine sensible comments before the dumb 14 year olds and meddling fundies show up with their pathetic poorly spelled homophobic insults.
I just don't get it. I thought it was alright. Of course the setting and writing was top notch but the same old errand boy gameplay and the auto aim just made it a little boring to me.
I know you can turn the auto aim off but the game was clearly made to use it. Turning it off was like needlessly hampering your own experience to try and get a bit of a challenge. Like closing one eye to make a racing game more difficult or something.
Rockstar are the maste...
Just change the lead character's name to Hans and it'll get a release.
It was awesome but it just wasn't enough, I want more, I NEED more, right now. Can't we just all agree to skip the rest of this shitty year and make it mid January right now??
Relax ... breathe ... breathe ... Calm blue ocean. Calm blue ocean.
Sorry but I'm still sulking about none of this stuff showing up last night. I'd planned a whole night of drinking around playing these demos and watching the last two episodes of The walking dead. I know they don't owe me anything yadda yadda but I'm still sulking about it, sue me.
Dammit, the one great (or even half decent) update in months and it's just not appearing. If this thing doesn't show up in the next hour I'm gonna beat Bill Gates to death.
ps. Yeah, I know he doesn't have anything to do with Sony but, c'mon ... those glasses... smug bastard.
Pretty cool but this is the best FPS I've seen from the Littlebigplanet 2 BETA

Note: Not made by me. I don't even have the BETA/talent.
Once I figured out the controls I enjoyed the demo. It works well as a free addition to a Move demo disc but I cannot imagine anyone in their right mind paying even DLC prices for the full game.
Again, buddy. I know it's tempting to jump the gun but try actually waiting until people say things before you complain about things they said.
psssst, remember to wait until people actually say things before rolling your eyes and getting all, 'I can't believe you just said that'.
Damn, I didn't know buying a game for a system I own rather than one I don't made me a fanboy. It's hard not to be a fanboy these days.
Having played the demo for this game on both PC and PS3 I do have to say the PC version looked much much better. However, I never bought it on PC since I hate playing games on my PC and I will probably end up picking it up for the PS3 when I'm done with LBP2 and Dead space 2. Still, I'm not incredibly excited for this game even though I enjoyed the first one on my 360 before I got the RROD.
....Now, I sit back and wait for the heads of PC/PS3/360 fanboys to explode from ...
