Graphics in 7 were janky bc it was originally an n64 title. When it switched mid dev to sony they kept the blocky n64 character models and developed the battle system in playstation. Which is why it all looks crazy to me. Still a fun game. I wouldn't say 7 was the best, but I think that goes for anyone. Whatever your first ff experience was, will be the best in your eyes.

I will say thia. The first time I beat ff viii was with summons. I didn't understand the junction system as a kid, but when I realized how it worked it was amazing. Junction 100 deaths to my gunblade. Fantastic. Quistis using degenerate early on to instakill t rexaurs. Oh man this game hits my nastalgia hard.

Yes! A remake of viii would be great. Have a better way to connect the romance between squall and rinoa. The card game is fun and actually matters bc you can synthesis your cards early on to make squalls leg weapon before disc 1 is finished! It's a shitty path to do it, but who doesn't love a playthrough where you're pretty much God :D

Rookie monster is right. I was referring to that article. I like niche games. Rocket league, rogue legacy, fez, minecraft. I spend many hours in those niche games that start out as indie.
Whether it looks or doesnt, this is one of those games that's about the experience and not the graphics. Shadow of collussus still holds up graphically today as a fun experience. Although it will always benefit with better graphics, but if it shipped today, I'd still buy and play the piss out of it.
@breakpad. Sony has 10 games plus multiplats coming out from now until Jan 2016. Xbox one has games too, but not 10 exclusives from now until the end of the year. I don't understand, do you read or are you just biased? Sony fans complain about the xbox one not bc it's a bad console bc you guys are continually blinded by the same old same old and it's just sad. :( I want to get an xbox one, but there's no point when I have too many games I'm backlogged on my ps4 with.
I agree. I was playing rogue legacy and it wasn't until I platinum trophied it that I noticed the light changes every character.
The cool thing though is if you have multiple controller. Player 1 is blue, player 2 is red. I have never seen third or fourth though
Nintendos wiiU isn't a good console by today's standards. Quit defending it like it is. Once NX comes out, your wiiU will be useless. Why? Bc they are already having a hard time developing a bunch of games to populate it's offerings. When NX hits and they branch out into mobile gaming, you then have 3 platforms where dev teams will be split up. That's why the wiiU isn't a good by and the NX is a risky choice.
That warranty was after a billions dollar class action lawsuit by consumers such as myself. The result was extending the 1 year warranty by 2 years, thus making it your 3 yr warranty and new x360 models to be shipped, zephyr, jasper to name 2 as well as a free month of xbox live for the inconvenience. @bass it's still a niche console in comparison to the xbox one and ps4. Huge lack of third party support. Hardly any games and Zelda was shown. Where is that awesome Zelda game? Where is that HD ocarina of time that looked so beautiful and amazing? Years later, still not out. Hl3 will come out before I buy a Nintendo console again.
Gears 3 wasn't a mystery though. As soon as gears of war remastered and it's next iteration were announced, this was the idea all along. Same as when we got Ground Zero. To build hype for the coming releases. I believe both are great!

I was a day 1 owner of the wiiu, after 2 months and no games I sold it on craigslist for $200. That system hurt me. Hurt me so bad nintendo. Whyyyyy?
If a game looks a decade old and cost $60 I'm not buying. I don't buy next gen systems to play games that couldve been achieved a decade ago bruh.
As an old 360 fanboy and now a ps4 fanboy. I agree. Gold subscription with dedicated servers are great. My only complaint is that games should be required to have dedicated servers, like CoD. Doesn't matter what console, I hope sony learns from them on that front.

I stopped reading after the 1st two sentences. Let's compare a game that was a beta almost a year ago to a beta that was recent. One is a huge game and halo 5 only beta was mp. How can you even compare?
I mean, I played the halo 5 beta, but it was garbage in comparison to the star citizen alpha. See, I can compare two different games that require two different amounts of development and funding too.
I'm a halo fan and halo 4 was trash. Too much like cod and bad mp map design. I don't even Wanna go deep explaining how the campaign let me down.
Out the gate, use quistis blue magic degenerator. Instakills t rex, or junction 100 sleeps/deaths to your gunblade. Rinse and repeat. Easiest way to lvl early on :)
