I'm just fine playing rocket league, bloodborne, metal gear, terraria, binding of isaac, jamestown, ffx, witcher 3, driveclub, etc.etc. bc they are the most generic bland games.
If I owned an xbox, I'd be happily playing halo MCC, forza, ori ori, and their upcoming holiday awesomeness.

The order feels new for pushing graphics, can't speak for killzone as I've never played it, but I played the wiiu titles as mentioned. I didn't comment to divide ps4 or xbox one. But to stack them together against a wiiu as available consoles out right now. Xbox one and ps4 have very promising games and content on the way that will continue to push boundaries and hardware. With respect to the wiiu, both consoles are a better choice in every area, unless you are a die hard nintendo...

I owned one. Big regret. The only competitive fun thing about the wiiu is splatoon. You go back to mario kart and play another 2 years of it until the next one.

Out of those revamped classics feel new? Mariokart is fun, so is the new smash, but they are hardly system sellers. After a while the fun wears off. They need more games like splatoon and new IPS to move that console. Other than that I don't see a point in buying a console for 2 games that after a month, I'll be tired of playing.

I agree. A $299-$350 price tag fits the tech better and will last way longer. If it's a $150 piece of garbage or limited tech don't expect a purchase. As I see it, those with money will speak first upon its launch. I'll be getting it day 1 to support VR who's with me?

They were practically giving them away. No surprise there that they claimed that week. I imagine if the ps4 dropped to $350 and came with the game of your choosing.... (cod, fallout 4, he'll even a no man's sky would be cool) then they will do the same.

If you want to believe people only buy consoles for AAA titles you are mistaken. I felt the spring, summer, autumn drought last gen on 360. Only games I picked up were cod, battlefield, and just a handful of niche games. Not a lot on 360 looking back over 7 years was worth it outside multiplats. Which is why I jumped to ps4 this gen. There's no doubt xbox gets more appealing overtime, however why would I buy it this holiday season when the games coming out are releasing just the same time...

It will definitely move units, but I'm neutral for both sony and xbox this holiday season. Both will do gangbusters this holiday season! Can't wait to see the many new gamers populate the respective consoles and servers. Going to be a good one for everyone this year.
@all the download speeds don't necessarily have anything to do with Sony. It could also be your isp preferring other people's bandwidth due to net neutrality laws. I pay for what's called "preferred premium plan" through cox cable. That means my bandwidth won't slow down but in fact my downloads and usage govern priority over those who went with a cheaper package. Sony can't control that. It's net neutrality in work. Though I never cared for the direction nintendo has been heading recently, there's no question that Iwata was one of, if not the most influential man, who brought games to many of us when we were younger. Problem occurred when people used the right analog to change the camera on menu to see more blades of grass. They fixed it now though. Sorry for the late reply

@sylph a lot both our opinions hold true. I had a wiiu when it came out for 6 months. No one I game with plays or wants one. Online is free and that's great. Some of the games are a lot of fun too, however none of the games they have am I seeing myself game binge for more than 2 hrs. On ps4 and xbox one, there are games that captivate me and I play for 7-10 hrs when I'm off. Nintendo just let me down and haven't done anything to repair the dmg they've done.
Same here man. Games is easy to enjoy and hard to master. So many different ways to flip your car to hit the ball. Learning how to boost fly to hit ball mid air. This game is great
Please, tell me of all the wonderful games on why I should buy a wiiu? Bayonetta is a great game sure, but I and many others don't care for it. You both can rave all day about wiiu, but it doesn't change the fact it is a sub part console. Yeah you're getting binding of isaac, but when? Years later.
