@melimel I understand your point, but for other consumers and limited entertainment center space, I don't want to have a bunch of external HDD I have to label in the future to play the games I want. Not bashing, just saying from my pov.

I agree with you as well, but I believe open world games keep going this way as pc gamers to utilize mods to make the games better, but to be fair, remember a time when you didn't need a mod to enjoy a game? The MGS series is one of the most prolific series on console, but this open world garbage is really just a waste. If it were linear it could've been twice as long with more badass cutscenes. However with time comes change and with that the next generation of development changes in...

Exactly, like how some parts of the raids are. Definitely an improvement. I bought it recently on ps4 the day of the big update and the changes they have made are pulling me back in. Thank god we have fallout 4 coming soon to pull me out again. I spent too much time on destiny on 360 as it were.

I can understand that for others, but for me, the enemies and the story fell short. My only real gripe outside of that was multiplayer armor abilities and it just didn't feel like halo to me. Halo 5 looks way better and seem a return to true halo form, but like I said, I'll wait to hear more about the story before I buy it. Thanks for your enthusiasm though.

Yeah it was bad to me. It's subjective and it's my opinion. I also thought halo 2 had an awful story. Multiplayer was phenomenal but the story was bad. Just because you're so enamored by the story and get into all the lore and access terminals and what not does not mean everyone does. I didn't care for it as halo 4 just did not fundamentally play like any halo. They made it too much like cod. So yeah, that opinion is also subjective but others view it as the same. It's coo...

No MS really dropped the ball as they had a disc less system in mind in the first place. With that logic and knowing the install sizes of next gen game they would've come out MS only storage drives that you have to buy separately, which in itself is still shady and crappy of them. Now it's a non issue bc of the backlash, but still it's worth noting that point as most never do. I can't talk too bad about them as I'm full on my 2 terabyte HDD on my ps4. Sigh, digital gaming ...

I don't like the direction 343 took halo with halo 4. The story was pretty bad and the multiplayer wasnt even halo anymore. Though it seems they are back on track with halo 5, I'm still skeptical of them taking the story off master chief and putting it on someone else. Just my thoughts.

I agree, outside the story and knowing nothing about mad max in general, from watching about 4 hrs of gameplay through shareplay, I'd give it a solid 7.0, its definitely worth a look if you just want to make smash smash kill kill

Get it on which you play most as most of your friends will have it

It will be paid mods for consoles only probably. As sony or MS have to host them and get them on the consoles somehow, that's why they probably won't be free.

This is a special case though. This is the last game from the original creator. We want a fleshed out ending. An answer all to every question. So as the series may continue without its creator for many, this is our last stop. If you had started the series from day 1 until now, you'd feel the same way. It's not entitlement. It's like an author saying this is his last book, but still left somethings unresolved. We want it resolved without having to buy a Konami game.

I've really been thinking about getting mad max. Need to shareplay it but the firmware beta I'm a part of limits shareplay use. :(

I agree, I believe the streaming service will end up being cheaper to be a part of than the console. The catch 22 is when the service disappates if at all, will we still be able to access our games? Otherwise, I'll always buy a console, and still buy digital then.

Gamestop will be on its way out. Once they started offering credit cards to afford these consoles, all its going to take is for people to start defaulting on them in the long run and they will be stuck with the bill, and should they spend money going after people to collect a $500 or more debt, it is not a sustainable business model for the next 15 years. So, those retail stores are already a dying breed at least in my eyes and many pc gamers eyes.

I love my ps4 as I came from 360. The asymmetrical sticks didn't bother me until I played cod beta. That's the only game I have a hard time with, stupid sprint. I need to get better at not jamming the stick forward the whole time, but my palms get sweaty as I marathon game. Oh well, still my preferred controller, I even prefer it over keyboard as that gives me hand cramps.

@melimel, currently I pay $60 for 100 Mbps and have 2 terabytes of data through cox. I'm probably lucky though, but you're point is just as valid as I did not think of data caps.

@debronco

Publishers would definitely have to cover the cost or find another way to somehow get it covered for it to be viable.

Excellent points, both of you.

Because if we bitch early enough maybe they won't try it and keep it consoles and physical games.

In 7 years it will be. At least in most us cities. Cox communications hast started there gigablast. 1000MBPS for $100 a month to compete with Google fiber. I was told they will have it in my area (georgia, us) can't wait. I'll be okay streaming for a service if the service is a one time fee. That's the rub for me at least. I won't pay $50/mo for a service.

Good job 343, continue alienating the halo fanbase with poor choices.
