To all who commented on this, I appreciate your input. I guess I'll go more in depth for you guys why I'm off put and feel the way I do.:
Hit detection is awful. Cannot tell you how many times I've shot people dead center close range with blaster and they do not lose health. (They did not have a personal shield)
Walker Assault is simple enough to understand, destroy walkers. Okay, I got that, but oh wait orbital airstrike especially and a ,x, an...
Exactly, this game is not worth $60. Maybe graphically and visually is worth it, but content, game mechanics, and unbalanced play, this game is a major pass for me and many others. A lot of people that played the beta will buy the game, but I bet more will opt not to get it day 1. Beta saved me money, gave reasons for others to buy it, all in all, not for me, but glad others will find enjoyment in it.
This should be changed. Being unbalanced is not part of the fun. Game mechanics are so watered down and accessible to a broad audience that it alienates a lot of core gamers from being able to enjoy it. Soud, graphics and everything star wars is well done. Gameplay and mechanics are unbalanced, unfun, and unrewarding.
I agree crash, halo 2 and 3 were amazing, but halo 4 to me was easily the most forgettable in the series. I understand why everyone has their different tastes, but it doesn't change the feeling of disappointment I felt after finishing it. I hope halo 5 is awesome though, but from what I'm hearing it's even closer to cod now, so I'll wait and see before I say anything negative about it. War zone looks cool though.
Your team has to be lucky enough to get orbital strikes and by that I mean someone competent enough to know when to use them on AtAts, idk though, this betas gameplay was really off putting. Everyone has a cycle rifle that takes 90 health even with body shots, I never know where shit on the map is, and I hate playing as rebel scum bc they rarely get their shit together in game an accomplish objectives
Glad I'm not the only one who had those problems. I usually lose gunfights against imperial for whatever reason.
Games boring bruh, the trailers for the game are 10 times more fun to watch that it is to play this game. It's not a bad game, but it feels mediocre for a star wars brand
Game sucks man. Fun for maybe 2 matches and I'd rather play something else.
You're not alone man, I was very underwhelmed. Just felt like it was behind the times and a bit archaic in terms of gun play.
Sometimes lag or choppiness caused my hit detetection to not register my weapon hits and got me killed a bunch. That aside this game feels extremely underwhelming. Maybe nostalgia is enough for others but I hope they do make it more like battlefield as the way this plays now, seems ancient and new.
The man who made lost odyssey was no other than Sakaguchi who worked on the good final fantasies of our time.
@Mikeyy, in the next few years they won't be the only one offering 1gbps, Cox, Google fios, att, Verizon fios to name a few already do, so the others will be forced to adapt to the competition within 10 years or lose market share. It's definitely on the horizon.
I definitely don't understand Alaska crazy speed. It's unfair, but I know that time Warner and Comcast are gearing up to spend money on infrastructure in the coming years. Tier 3 support from my provid...
@ Xander Zane
If xbox only made games for America it wouldn't exist as they would do nothing but sell console and software at a loss. Without the investment globally xbox would have even less games and their AAA will look AA, do you even think?
The standard in my city is 50 mbps for $45. I pay $55 for 100 mbps. It's doable in a lot of cities, the same infrastructure I have is only years away from hitting most other cities and then all will enjoy it's awesomeness. I wish they'd put Ff12 on there.
Really? I mean is it a true port?
This is disbelief and wonder. I'm not antagonizing :P if 13-2 made it on there then no telling what can go mobile.
I do hope they flesh the story out more. I never played crisis core or anything else that adds to ff7 lore, but at the end, who wins? Is it left up to interpretation? Idk, it just felt anticlimactic with out a solid resolution and that's my only serious gripe about the game.
I hated the material system. It was a very unrewarding grindfest and the story was eh. I don't know why people got so upset after aeirth died. She was in your party for a short amount of time that by the end of the game, she's just an afterthought. I don't know. Every one has their preferred FF. Mine is 8, drawing magic is a drag, but it's entirely possible to get squalls legendary weapon before completing disc 1. That's why it's my favorite. Play hours of cards then k...
Actually I hope he saves it, because I was unaware of this list. It gives people like me a reason to buy an xbox one. I know I see this list because of the article, but what if I had missed it because I didn't check the Internet today? He'd have the list to show me or link me article some point. The xbox one can be out performed by the ps4 all day, but as long as it has exclusives or just games in general, I'll have a reason to pick one up. I think it's a good thing.
@spotie
The ps4 cost $400. It's been said to cost as much as a console. Considering it's a sony product coming in 2016 and the ps4 is the latest sony console, I'm sticking with $300-$400. It's not even October yet, plenty of time to start saving between now and spring 2016, more than likely around march. I'll just start saving $20/wk from now until release and I should be ready. I'm too amped for VR and what not.
So let's put a random token on the map that randomly gives the rebel what he needs to cause dmg to AtAts....yeah balanced. All the while they are transparent, don't appear on the mini map and most of the time if you know what to do you have to luck into obtaining them as you are competing with 19 other people at the same time for them. Not to mention being shot at. Let's not talk about the rebel killzone that is the hangar. So awful. This game definitely is not balanced and beta o...
