It's a "grid" based movement, it's essential for the puzzle elements of the game where the step counts can be crucial. It's actually pretty good as long as you don't come into it expecting a Mario style control.
Veterans =/= the same high budget, just the same good design which according to reviews, this does game does have.

Filters like xBRZ can look awesome on some games, it's really different from game to game, don't tell me these xBRZ filtered games don't look absolutely stunning:

@InKnight7s I know it takes a ton of stupidity to be a fanboy of any company, but I hope that amount is not enough to stop you from using google to know the XIII games launched with pretty much all DLC for around 15$ on steam.
