This is literally impossible, even if the graphics of the next generation went all the way to the best possible graphics limit which is perfect photorealism, it will not be as big as the jump from first generation to second which should always be the biggest possible jump, it's called the law of diminishing returns:

Quantic Dream games are the exception forced by a Chinese investor, not the rule, games of one company out of hundreds of exclusives that never made it outside Sony's consoles, and it's the reason I said "minimal" not impossible.

All games should be re-released, no reason not to. It's convenient not to have to dust off and reconnect the old PS2, and young players can access old classics that were released when they weren't even born.
