This is actually more pricey than it should be. A lot of the components can be had for much less. For example, we had the 6870 (even better than the 6850 mentioned in the article) on sale for $99 - and that's here in Canada. I'd expect that "$558" to be closer to $400-$450 if you are willing to look around for competitive prices.
I agree. I loved Origins and would say it is one of the best RPG games of all time in terms of character development. I hated DAII. I despise this even more.
Pfft...Americans cry too much.
Up here in Canada, 50Mbps down/2Mbps up for $100+$7 modem rental+tax AND there's only a 250GB monthly cap. Exceeding this, you get charged $50 more.
So, to get this 50/20 internet, it costs us 157+tax = $177.41.
You guys have got it sweet down there when compared to Canada. Our currencies are almost equal, as well.
I'm pretty sure that Sony can release an app that allows making phone calls since the Vita already supports Wifi and 3G. You can already use apps on iPhone to text for free globally and call for free in North America. All you need is Wifi...or just the data plan from your phone provider.
Where's Final Fantasy Versus XIII?!?!?!?!?!
PS. ?!??!?!
1up is crap. Who in their right mind can possibly believe that MS won this E3? And they list the 360 getting Youtube and Live TV to be a "top" announcement? All that stuff has already existed on the PS3 for years and even I don't consider that to be worthy of any top 10 list, now or years ago when they came out on PS3.
It is not a complete list.
I have only played a little bit on PC but the graphics look amazing for this game. They look like they are straight out of prerendered cutscenes! If you have a decent PC, check this game out.
You do realize that Nintendo has four different products as well, right?
They're probably going to tie DA:O to DA2 because the way Witch Hunt ended clearly showed that they plan on continuing Morrigan's story as well as the demon-child (that is, if you shacked up with her).
I guess if you play video games while someone takes a monkey wrench to twist your testes makes the entire ordeal worthwhile.
"So a terrorist"
Stopped reading there. Get it through your skull that the people at Guantanamo have not received any trial to sieve out the terrorist from the non-terrorist and were arrested merely for being at the wrong place at the wrong time - and it is always the wrong time in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Ignorance is strong with this one.
Screen size does not matter. Say it with me: Does. Not. Matter.
Resolution determines everything. Not your screen size. The only reason PCs are usually hooked to "small screens" is because people use their PCs for other purposes that actually, you know, help them earn a living and typing up anything on a big TV screen is distracting. Plus, an amazing PC costs as much as a big screen TV.
Reading comprehension FAIL.
He clearly said that Sony already won BECAUSE it announced all those games BEFORE E3. Those games that Sony announced last week and the week before (Killzone 3, inFamous 2) are more than anything MS has announced recently. If you look at it, the list of "AAA" (I hate this word) exclusives coming for the PS3 simply outweighs anything coming for the 360. We know about Gears 3, Halo: Reach, and Fable 3 and have known for a while. Microsoft h...
Ever.
The real question is, have all these comments against Microsoft been legitimate? I say that they have. With this E3 conference, all we saw, when it came to "core" gamers, was what we knew about already (and what we knew was that there'd be sequels coming out of well established franchises). Anything new has been targeted for the casuals. Microsoft seems to be going the same route as the Wii.
Yeah, let's compare three completely different genres! It's so obvious how NBA2k10 DESTROYS Final Fantasy XIII!
you're last at everything else.
I gotta get this game.
EDIT: Stealth edits FTL.
The bigger question is, this guy claims to be a serious PC gamer but he's still using a 2900XT...that's a nearly 5-year-old video card and it wasn't even the best when it came out.
