Kena, Death Loop ,Lost Judgment and Death Stranding all were featured in recent State of Plays and those other games will have them when they are closer to release. And all of them I am certain will have advertising campaigns.
And as for the new studios, you're talking about games that are in very early production. What, you just want some CGI and title cards like Phil has? Who cares, that is B.S. just to feed the media. Microsoft needs to ...
"Square has FF16, FF Souls, and Forspoken all coming which one is coming first. Deathloop, Kena, and Death Stranding Director's Cut are coming in September and need a final showing before release to get people re-excited. Horizon, Ghostwire Tokyo, Stray, and God of War are next year, the first three scheduled for Early 2022, is God of War coming March / April like usual or is it Summer / Fall 2022. What's going on with Gran Turismo 7. Has the Bluepoint...
Maybe people complained when they showed games "too soon" even when they were only two years out, and claimed "downgrades" about every single puddle, so now they are waiting until games are nearly complete to show them.
Maybe they don't want to pull a Phil "I'm not going to show games so early anymore" Spencer then show a bunch of cgi trailers and title cards for games that are 4-5 years from release.
I couldn't care less, I trust that Sony is working on games, and they have said multiple times that they are working on games and that games are the focus. And that's on top of the games we already know are coming.
Just because the other guys are showing games that have barely even started development doesn't mean that Sony doesn't have games.
Game Journalist: "PlayStation needs to have a show, so I can stop writing articles about how PlayStation needs a show and start writing articles about how the show sucked and didn't live up to expectations."
It's cheaper than what I paid for Lost Legacy and Frozen Wilds. But of course the bandwagon has rolled on bashing this expansion because it costs anything.
Of course, other games have DLC expansions that offer FAR FAR less content cost more and no one says a thing.
When there are 3000 games on sale yea, some of them will probably be in the next sale, plus there are a lot of games on sale that have released in the past few months.
And what kind of stupid argument is this anyway, who cares how often a game goes on sale? New games will be on sale too.
Microsoft's summer sale was 700 games... So I think Sony having 3000 games is freaking amazing.
I thought the narrative was that digital meant you didn't "own" the game. At least on console.
Blah blah blah nice deflection.
"Pretty sure that makes PC the cheapest place to own games, being there's multiple storefronts fighting with each other on the daily, and you have the chance to back up anything you buy."
The flip side to that is not having to compete increases profits and allows them to offer deeper ...
"1) The data is only for physical sales in the UK not sales overall."
I'm fairly certain UK reporting includes digital, and it's a representative issue, you don't need to poll every single person to get an overall picture.
"2) It's quite funny that we already have detailed sales at retails store only 1 day after launch ( the source article was produced on August 15th"
I find it interesting that so many people always come in and talk about how they buy more games... And maybe you do... but it doesn't matter because what we see in game after game is a trend where PlayStation and Nintendo are selling 90+% of the copies of multiplatform games.
And it's not even just of games on Game Pass we have seen this trend carry over to games not on the service. It's getting more and more ridiculous to try to claim that Game Pass isn'...
I game on PC as well, and I sincerely do not believe that Steam sales offer the level of discounts as I see regularly on PlayStation. And the big Steam sales are seasonal, As soon one sale ends, another begins on PlayStation and, they regularly have multiple themed sales going on at the same time.
And let's be honest Steam sales aren't as great as they used to be.
