I bet if Sony asked them not to reveal PlayStation settings, they would ignore them. And what else does Microsoft have them say and not say. I remember when Jason Roald straight up and obviously lied to Richard's face about SX SSD and said it matched PS5's speed even though it had already been reported by Microsoft and Richard just agreed with it and didn't even question him.
Christopher, what was the top story the day after the big gamescom showcase?
It was Horizon's release date and the 60 fps patch.
I'm rejecting your comments because they are unrelated to what I said. You're trying to change the metric to one that you think proves me wrong instead of using the one that I used that proves me right.
I'm not goalpost moving at all, you're trying to change the metric.
I said this:
"I was looking at the news aggregators like google, yahoo and some other sites the day after the show and the top story was Horizon's release date."
I wasn't talking about searches, I'm not talking about which game has the most aggregated "heat" because their developers had popular stories talking about how they are...

If you look at those searches you provided, you'll notice they are mostly about pre-orders of the limited edition console, which is great for Microsoft but not...
That's a different measurement, that's searches. The aggregators are using click through to move stories up on the list.
This site for example didn't put the Horizon story on top because it was searched most on the site, it was because the most people clicked through the story and interacted with it. '
I was looking at the news aggregators like google, yahoo and some other sites the day after the show and the top story was Horizon's release date.
Look at the weekly top stories on this site related to gamescom, its Horizon the release date and the update.
Some people will get mad, but from the media response point of view Sony won gamescom, Horizon was the most talked about story. They won and they didn't even show up.
There is no reason why they couldn't have nominated Horizon 2 which was shown at the show, except to snub Sony. Just like last year, not nominating PS5 for the desired console award.
When i say quick load and am not talking about quick resume where the game is the last game you played and you haven't closed it. I am talking about the PS5 feature where you use the cards for the game to load your last save or pre-programmed challenges in a game.
PS5 and the SSD can load the game completely cold boot in 2 seconds.
If the whole game can load in 2 seconds from the UI desktop using quick start and whole levels can be loaded in game nearly instantly, why do people insist that the game needs rail sections to hide loading?
Here is the timestamped digital foundry tech analysis from John Linneman talking about this very scene. John Linneman talked with the developers at Insomniac numerous times during the development o...
If you're talking about people who are buying a PS5 during the holidays, they can get Ratchet and Clank, Returnal, Demons Souls plus many other games. The huge issue that's overlooked, Microsoft released nothing all year so they have a couple of games releasing this holiday, whereas Sony has games that new PS5 owners can buy that already exist. On December 31 2021 PlayStation will still have more next gen exclusives than Xbox.
