"... the majority of indy devs on iOS TRYING TO MAKE A NAME FOR THEMSELVES"
Obvious mistake. Every game visionary and creator has a unique voice and can not really be labeled.
It is those that build on their legacy be putting down others (like us VITA owners and supporters) that really deserve to be called out and held accountable for what they say and how they act.
"Veni Vidi Vita!"
Not to insult or draw comparison, but the majority of indy devs on iOS can and have insulted VITA.
Everything from "VITA is DOA" to now this "gimmicky" moniker has been thrown at VITA and it has pretty much always come from iOS devs who want to diss the VITA while promoting their downloadable touch game on Apple devices.
It is not as if Sony is or should be appealing to the niche crowd of people that post on forums, Sony should be going for the people that actually spend money and time on their games.
Whoever is in charge of the official Playstation youtube page just got found out to be a Nintendo fanboy.
Patrick Garratt was the one that spread this whole thing by writing about a mole with supposed info on this whole thing.
I ask because only Solid Snake was mentioned.
This more than likely Solid Snake being announced for All Stars.
I know it is E3 week and all, but this is the RPG that broke records.
Let's be humble now.

. . . People online can speculate about the downfall of western civilization next time. ;)
"Virtua Fighter" on VITA's OLED screen would actually look really good.
But, what you wrote was an insult. So ...
BEYOND
A feature which the VITA and PS3 can already do.
This is basically an app, btw.
Edit: Also, no, I am not a fanboy. I like all gaming experiences as long as they are unique and add spice to the mix...
My heart. :(
Although, some serious gaming historians can/will prove that black female leads have been in other games.
Actually, Jade (from "Beyond Good and Evil") is a multi-ethnic human woman from another planet, so that is kind of close to this.
Even than, this is such a gutsy move. Gotta love it! I would buy ten if I could just to support the concept of having a big AAA franchise from the perspective of a human woman with extraordinary abilities. And she is ...
Capcom is a bit overdue for their next big VITA game. SFxT is not going to go over well (if the current sales are any indication) so, a new title for VITA should be a glowing glimmer of hope for a return to form (on the retail side) for both Capcom and VITA.
As a game company with a rich history, I really love Capcom. For me at least, I want to see Capcom's VITA titles have a lot of enthusiasm.
Make a PS3 game on VITA, much like how multiplatform games work today.
Simple.
p.s. I don't have all day (nor all the bubbles in the world) to argue this with you, so if you want to call me "stupid" or something just write it and be done with it.
I will literally not give a turd if what you write in response to me is not something REALLY worth my last bubble.
Edit: Also, those last few paragraphs I wrote seemed ...
There are few companies, few goods and services and few opportunities in time where some key item in an ecosystem (like an electronics device) actually places a dent in relevancy in the mass consumers mind by creating a bundle.
I can attest to first hand experience that the "bundle" mentality typically makes a core item seem weaker. Especially if I already own the device or am more than a small leap behind in wanting to own this thing which is the key to an ecosyste...
Not bad for a game that is: $50 USD, on a new mobile platform, not made by Naughty Dog, Not promoted on TV, has a digital option ... all of that and UC:GA still managed to sell 500k in the VITA's launch window.
This is actually a really nice showing of VITA heading into its stride for retail presence. Def, more VITA's need to be sold and a stronger presence need to be made in countries where the retail infrastructure is still strong (i.e. Europe, Japan, and parts of A...
Rather, the "agree" and "disagree" button (and similar prestige stuff online) is an equal opportunity tool for toying with peoples self value on an online site.
Anyways, not everyone has purchased or wants to buy a console for playing a game that catches their attention.
Think of it this way:
There are gaming platforms with different tech and experiences that make it an intangible thing you want.
You only...
I dunno about this.
Dust 514 is just going to have a "companion app" on VITA for its stage one cross platform play. It seems to be a matter of not only developing the game but, figuring out the systems logic for the netcode, balancing the controls for VITA and PS3, and getting a good community behind it.
I think a f2p "DC Universe Online" for VITA would be a big win for cross-platform gaming (across PC, PS3, and VITA).
VITA and PS3 can connect to one another and do some amazing things. I mean, pre-alpha cross control features (for LBP2 and Killzone) where shown at TGS 2011 and it was great!
