The rock HAS COME BACK! ...
Screw them people who disagree.
Screw them fans.
I look at the people around me in a big enough crow, and they are generally playing on their Android or iPhone.
From there, it is not a huge disillusionment (of reality) to believe people will play games on the VITA. However, purchasing and owning a VITA will need to be at the consumers convenience. Much like the recent rise of tablets and the iPad, people will pay to be part of the larger market that just wants good software but does not want to be seen carying around a faux...
Might as well.
I think gamestop would announce something a couple of weeks before the launch, though. So, it might be good to wait. What is the harm?
You are clearly blind.
NOW I need to step in for the VITA.
It is almost as if people are ready to burn in effigy something they think is monster, but is actually a character that has a heart of gold. (If I where to make an analogy in that illustrative tone)
If I could give people that only see the 3DS side of things the low-entropy model sales pitch on the VITA, it would be that the VITA is a "gamers device". I love playing the games it has (Katamari, P3P, Ragnarok Odyss...
People on the internet are in the mode of "Wait till the VITA gets ____ game(s) and sells more" state-of-mind.
As of late (just by watching the trends going into the December Japanese launch), my mantra has been that the VITA will need more than just games to secure its future.
... Also, the VITA does not JUST need new games to pick up the slack.
There is something wrong when the PSP owners I know do not have a PS VITA nor plan on buying one anytime soon. Just 'having more games' is not really solving the problem that not enough people actually own the console.
Otherwise, yeah I would like to see some more cool games. I can already think of a few Japanese games I want to see come to the US.
The simplicity of this burn is only made more funny by the fact you did it under 25 characters.
[Double post]
This thing should get an "AO" rating for all that blood and dark, grim demonic looking things.
Only thing it needs more of is boobies! (Well, that's what I'd like to see anyways)
The amount of awesomeness in my mind (at the thought of an english P4TG) has caused my head to cave within itself, like a giant dying star.
This can only be good.
I will be damned if a serious game on PC does not make its way to the VITA!
Have a "transfarring" meta-game in GOW4. The PS VITA version of the GOW game could take place in a tangental universe to the sequel and the main game on console will be 100% cannon but, items and stuff can be translated between the two.
Based on the two PSP GOW games, there WILL be a new GOW made exclusively for the VITA (eventually). Why not have it tie to GOW4?
"Golden Sun" on the GBA was a shinning example of a console-like experience packed into an "on the go" device. The amount of RPG action and graphic fidelity was (at the time) a true eye opener.
P.s. I do not hate myself (and others) enough label myself with the "fanboy" moniker. Make of me what you will; I just write stuff on n4g (and have fun while doing so). :)
I owned a GBA when I was young, and it lead me to buying a VITA.
Funny how life works, eh?
If anyone affected by the 'axing' is reading this, I am enjoying the VITA and you guys/gals did a fantastic job!
Whether it was cleaning up the cubicles or promoting the VITA, you where part of something I am really enjoying (in the VITA) and I appreciate it!
Well, the game is going to be jumping from $19.99 to $39.99 if you do not hurry.
And I, for one, welcome our new women overlords.
:)
