Getting the game at launch!
Hey, that is a pretty sensible way of spending those riches. You get to be on an island where people do not hunt you or bother you, plus you can donate to a charity you want. (I did not rationalize anything out, I just wrote down a gut feeling of what I would do with that money.)
Maybe, it really was not as simple as just spending $380 mil. I think Gaikai have their tech patented (like Onlive), so there must be a reason.
Yup. There is a SCE press release and everything.
(Man, I would swim buck naked in a pile of 380 mil $1's. Just sayin'!)
This is the first I hear of this! Haha.
Also, err, no. I reported you earlier because I thought you linked to neogaf (at least, I saw the neogaf link right below the "Read Full Story >>" hyperlink) and linking to directly to sites like neogaf was not allowed.
I removed my report but now it looks like the thing you are trying to link to is just old news.
p.s. lol At attaching a dejected looking man on the thumbnail. Hmmm. And, ...
But, I exercise my freewill all the time by playing my VITA - given that the time and place is okay (and I am not in some dark alley where thugs can beat me up and take my VITA).
Whenever I casually play my VITA in public, it is really no different than imagining a serious philosopher like Socrates playing spinning tops in public (back in 400 bc).
Interesting story though. I gotta feel bad for that girl who plays "Farmville". Girls like that usually...

^ If you want some background on this story.
I would like a good [up close] melee slash attack character with a medium sized build.
Jak might fit that description.
Honestly, I think there are tons more third party characters that could be a medium build with good melee. I think Lu Bu from "Dynasty Warriors" comes to mind.
Yeah, the game and video's can not run simultaneously as games take top priority in the GPU.
Using it already and loving it! Checking out my fav youtube personalities and what they have to say on my VITA is an awesome sensation.
Now, I look forward to PS1 classics on VITA. Such an awesome little device.
"Daxter" was my fav PSP platformer.
I can't wait for a VITA version. Honestly, I think the best fighting game for PSP was "Tekken: Dark Resurrection". I must have spent hours on that game back in the day!
Seeing this game take form on the VITA should be interesting. So, I will def consider buying this.
The only thing I want the people involved here to care about is now just localizing the game.
XSEED. The time has come to claim your throne!
This title is going to be so fun on a handheld.
Because of the time spent playing mobile games?
It is not impressive to think a smart phone and tablet can die out and cease to do all these other things it was built for because battery life was spent playing on a touch screen.
On the other hand, VITA has all the processors and battery of a iOS device but one can rest assured that time on VITA will be used for gaming. Even though VITA has apps, they all tie into gaming (see Near and Welcome Park).
...
I basically felt the same about my VITA.
@xof: Nope. Oppinions are a dime a dozen. I only question the popularity and pull some person might have because their verbal diarrhea could be taken on by others.
@CaCL: Calcium (II) Chloride. There must be two moles of (anion) Chloride present to combine with one mole (cation) of Calcium in order to form a compound.
... That you think others think your opinion ACTUALLY matters?
And I like the humility behind Aveline, considering she is black in that place and time period.
As a gamer, I just look forward to a new AC game; a really new one on the VITA, with a new story and perhaps some unique mechnics/environments.
Gamers that love tech news have to be loving these past few days!
