Not sure why you are getting disagrees.
Awesome! :D
More need to do this!
The best thing ever.
We love it, you already know! :D
PS3 at $600 was still one of the cheaper Blueray players when it launched in 2006. The next Playstation console (based on early leaks) wont have a new multimedia platform to go off of besides the new types of games. Sony needs their next Playstation console to have an affordable, entry-level SKU whose selling point is pushing games to a wide audience. SCE's agenda for PS4 is clear; to expand the audience so that the types of experiences (you and I) enjoyed with this gen's games can be...
If they have a low priced model for around 399 bucks, I would buy the PS4 at launch.
Hopefully, they also make a low priced bundle with VITA+PS4 so more people can get into cross-play, cross-buy, cross-save, etc.
This is the first review I have seen of this.
Glad to see a blog writter enjoyed this enough to review it. Great sign.
"These games are not to motivate people into buying a Vita or a PS3 (depending on which they have), they're to offer another experience for people who already have both."
Correct! This is not a marketing ploy on SCE to sell people "just some gimmick". Cross-play is a feature in the technology of VITA and it is a feature of the console.
Once the console architecture allows for better cross-play (aka Playstation Orbis), than the enginee...

The requisite of wireless communication and interaction of games (tech both made and played by gamers) first made its strides on the PSP around 2007-ish. However, I feel the geeky tech talk analogous of "Which came first? The chicken or the egg?" is beside side point when talking about this article.
Well, all in all, I hope SCEI listens to some critique about lowering "technical barriers" that might halt some gamers from enjoying (what the author pionts ou...

Also, the middle school kid needs to be taught about social care and family counseling (from his parents, teachers, etc).
The kid should not just be telling kids to do something because he made a few posters, besides it could be seen as a proxy for bullying. Imagine an adult saying to a teen, "You didn't want to donate your COD game? You are going to grow up to be just like Lanza!"
So sad. That is no way t...
Everyone forgets about the music rhythm genre! >:O
That genre died (or at least was partially monopolized by "Guitar Hero") when the ps3/360 consoles and new (slow refresh rate) TV's came in. No fault of their own, but it was sad that the days of DDR came and went.
I hope the Sony Visor thing takes off, becomes around $100 bucks a pop and I also hope that technology gets a greater refresh rate than what TV's have now.

Stay..stay strong.

It really hurts my internal organs that MH is not on the VITA.
There are literally hundreds of hours I spent on the PSP plaing ONLY MH...
I am shadow of my former self thanks to MH not being on VITA. :(
It's in the early stages and its a small sample size to derive evidence from (to date, 3 days and its dlc on lbp2), but the majority of people are not complaining of performance lag between PS3 and VITA at all.
This is ... interesting (to say the least).
I never suspected this would be kaput on the first day, but we are talking about PS3, which is generally stubborn to handle multi-tasking threads (mind you, this is wireless I/O communication between two...
Good to hear thefirst cross-controller functionality is not sucky. I am raising my expectations even more when Ps4 comes out because that's when the true cross-controller tech will shine.
Oh, btw, I sent you a PM.

This game was barely revealed in Japan and Namco Bandai has only been teasing new info in Japanese.
I am guessing it is a mid-to-late 2013 US release (at best).
C'mon, Sony! Make us Playstation enthusiasts proud!
It's not exactly like we had the best of years in 2012. Nevertheless, we are gamers and look forward to some fun this year.
Exclusive games. Exclusive experiences. Exclusively Playstation.
Happy New Year, everyone!
