He speaks highly of the game, yet he gives it a 5.69.This dude needs help.
Well it's partially to do with KZ3. Because of games like it, PS3 owners don't fall for 'shooter bait' so easily. Plus the single player is short and underwhelming and the mulitplayer is decent. I only own a PS3 and I'm willing to bet that like me, most PS3 owners are avoiding it because of the poor single player campaign.
You do realize that youtube has an HD function don't you? I watched in HD and it looked awesome. Can't wait until Tuesday!!!!!!!!
The true difference is lighting. The two screens are similar if you look at them closely. The 360 version is just "lit up" more. There's alot of over exposure which is actually doing some harm and some good.
My brand new 64 bit laptop has a ATI HD 4250 graphics card in it, but it can't run this game. Guess I need a HD 6950. That's my problem with PC gaming, the games are too demanding.
He's actually praising the PSP2 for it's use of buttons and analog sticks.
His exact word were"except MAYBE 360". Carmack hasn't done much console programming this gen so he's just going with what's easiest to program for.
Any one who knows anthing about game programming knows that DirectX is easier to use than OpenGL and you can get better results.
WRONG. CryEngine3 uses deferred lighting. They boast it in their "Beauty" trailer. But you also have to realize that the type of game and setting depend on what type of lighting is required. Crysis2 required Global Illumination in real time because the game has a dynamic day and night cycle.
Here's a quote from the latest Game Informer that covered Battlefield3 "Frostbite 2 comes with powerful new features like deferred lighting, real-time radiosity, and dyn...
Some people just can't handle the life. They choose one over the other and justify that by being content with it. I can't do it though, I'm a PS3 owner but there's no way I'm passing up Crysis2 on day one.
@KRATOS-PS3 I'm sorry to say, but it's people like you that give the PS3 fanbase a bad rep, and even more on this site. You put Killzone3 on such a high pedistal like it's the second coming, but it's really just a great FPS game, just lik...
Gurilla Games has admitted in the "Behind The Scenes" video that Killzone is largely influenced by WWII.
Sharpshooter is the way to go.KZ3 with MOVE may be fun, but KZ3 with Sharpshooter is hands-down the most immersive single player FPS experience i've ever had.
BUBBLES BUBBLES BUBBLES BUBBLES and MORE F*CKING to you!!!
Even the devs said that Crysis2 gameplay has an "open" aspect to it by adding vertical gameplay but the story is still linear.
Both published by EA, just like Crysis2. Can you see where this is going?
G*D@MN MIXED REVIEWS!!!
They should put this on the Bulletstorm disc as an extra or an unlockable.
The "Be The Weapon" trailer for Crysis2 is up on PSN and looks great. Sony likely allow PC versions of trailers to be displayed for promo purposes as was likely the case with this trailer but I think the actual PS3 version will be close. It's gonna look great on PC obviously but what about a console owner with a 240hz(or 480hz) 1080p. That'll look pretty awesome too. But it's the gameplay that has me watching that trailer 4 or 5 times a day. All the stuff you can do like...
Really?
First Sony goes after Hotz and crew and the judge rules in Sony's favor.
Then Hotz and crew have to turn over their hacking gear and stop distribution of the root keys.
Next Sony sends cease notices to other mirror sites that were distributing the code and the sites comply.
Finally Sony releases new version of FW 3.56 to bar hackers.
So I'm not so convinced that it'll never end. Otherwise ...
GTFO, this thread isn't for you.
I have it on PS3 and I love it.
