I'm still getting the error as well. Must be an overload on that server.
@dantesparda
Mark Cerny confirmed it. He helped design the PS4's architecture.

First let's get one thing straight. I've been gaming since playing Asteroids and Pole Psotion on an Atari and have a college degree in level design. I work with game engines like UE3 and CRYENGINE on a daily basis. I know exactly what the specs of boths systems are. I comment on here for recreation, you comment here for a living and I will not be disprespected by some incognito delusonal fanboy.

This is a comment thread for an X1 article. Most people commenting here don't care that PS4s specs prove its 50% more powerful(except maybe you and me). To them those specs are "raw numbers" which begs the question, if Sonys PS4 specs are raw numbers then what is all those specs/numbers mentioned in this article?
There's a 99% chance it'll come to PS4. It's just a matter of when, how, and if Respawn will be the developer. Basically Mass Effect1 all over again.
It means X1 has a more complex architecture than the PS4 and not as powerful. However I'm no fool and I'm not blind, I've seen Ryse and Titanfall so it looks like great devs will make it shine. PlayStation has always been my preference but with games like those it looks to be a bright future for the Xbox 1.
This dude is clearly out of his mind.
Unreal Engine3 does dynamic lighting via light environments. It's what allowed Gears Of War 2 to ship. So many AAA games have used dynamic lighting that his statement is literally laughable. The only thing is that most of the time it's not 100% real time dynamic lighting and it's precomputed but I highly doubt that COD:Chosts will be bringing any groudbreaking lighting features that we haven't already seen.
We all know about the large number of cores but the true power of PS4s GPU is really backed the GCN architecture which was not only built to run DX11 better and more efficiently but also allows GPU's to run tasks that the CPU offloads to it. AMD and Cerny bet the bank on GPU's doing more than just graphics and it's clearly paying off.
At the same time it seems that PS4's GPU is not restricted to DX. We've all seen the COD:Ghosts trailer. They mention tes...

Activision made a billion dollars on Black Ops 2. It's up to them as to how much of a cut Treyarch gets.
All the No DRM has made folks forget that there's 8GB of GDDR5, a better processor and better graphics card in the PS4 not to mention an architecture that easier to develop for.
You can check that here: http://bgr.com/2013/05/22/x...
Sony just added icing on the cake with allowing the sale and purchase of used games, no always online, and at $100 less. It looks t...
Many are trying to justify the XBoxOne as being comparable to the PS4 but I can't and I don't need E3 to convince me. Its has slower RAM than the PS4 plus they added 32MB(which seems like not near enough) of ERAM to the GPU which is not as unified as the PS4's architecture so devs might have to deal with some bottlenecking, especially since the CPU is also rumored to be slower than the PS4. The article tried to do a great job at making it look like their similar but their clearly ...
Can anyone confirm whether the Xbox one's CPU/GPU were made by MS or AMD. The article says it was custom built by MS.
They have nothing to show and PS4 and the next Xbox will easily overshadow anything Nintendo announces.
Cryengine3 has dynamic lighting but Crysis 3 uses Autodesk Beast. It's about using those middleware programs to make games have more realistic lighting, AI, etc.
@just_looken
You seem to be missing Sony's marketing strategy for the past 7 years which is core gaming and killer exclusives. You have a point that there were not really any new innovative games shown as they are bringing existing franchises to the PS4 but there's no denying the hardware is great for a console. Nvidia > AMD ,true but I think AMD may be comfortable on a console and you should know that MS is using the exact same set up as they will be using AMD hardware al...
While I don't completely disagree I will say that as someone who bought this game along with BO2, it's worth no where near $50. I also think they could have come up with a better run mechanic cuz pressing the analog forward while pressing down on the dpad is a pain.I do blame myself as I never inquired about the price cuz I figured it's a vita game so it'll be $39.99 at most. Definitely learned my lesson. Check before u buy.
To say that the PS4 won't ba as powerful, if not more powerful that the WiiU is absurd. Lets be real, with 10million articals all but confirming an APU made by AMD, 4-8 gigs of RAM, and a DX11 capable graphics card, anyone with a brain would know that PS4 games will absolutely be able to rival the WiiU and will look tons better than current gen games. Believe me,certain developers will make sure of that.
This is all on Bethesda for not ensuring the Creation Engine would be able to properly handle the RAM constraints of the PS3. Possibly a Mass Effect 2 situation where they released it on 360 first while they do more optimization on the PS3. You hear devs always saying they love the challenge so it's sad to see Bethesda waving the white flag.
My only question is, since its still 2 weeks before the actual release date can we redeem the code now and start playing online?
There's no parity here. They had to settle for 30FPS so both versions would be 1080P but we all know PS4 could run the game at 1080p60. Xbone would likely be a different story so.....ya 30FPS for both versions.
