This doesn't seem accurate.
If someone who's equivalent to a lvl 13 gets the 1000 point achievement then 1000 points is added to their gamerscore but if a lvl 13 gets a Plat on PSN there's no telling how much was added to their trophy level.Basically the percent toward your next level that each trophy gives you decreases as your trophy level increases. Pretty confusing. The only car that looks horrible is the white hatchback, the rest of the cars look like standard cars. That Scion is likely as psp port. It's true that there are some ugly cars in GT5 but there's only a few of those plus PD could fix them with a patch update if they choose to.

Of course GT5 graphics are bland. They mimic real life for goodness sake. Real cars don't have neon blue and pink streaks coming off of them as they go down the road.
Was that a joke? I don't see PD making GT5 for PC and I won't have to go into any settings to make GT5 look good. Nor do I have to buy the latest GPU from nVidia or ATI to play it and it'll still be one of the best looking games ever created. The PC is kinda overrated when it comes to gaming.

There's definitely some game changers in there, plus they'll be adding more updates in the future. SE can't let this one flop so look for it to get much better over time. As for me, I'll be waiting on the Ps3 version to see what it's all about.
I played it on PC with my PS3 controller and it wasn't too bad. There will be problems early on in MMOs but eventually they can be fixed just like with FFXI. The PS3 is a large part of why certain limitations exist within the game. They don't wan't people PLing to ridiculous levels and flying all over the land just yet. The PS3 players still need to get in there and get a feel for the game and then they'll start making changes.
Thank GOD this is only for EU. The U.S. PSN seems to be suffering though. It's taking me forever just to sign in. Oh well, I'll be ready for the 19th!
Gamestop says it's street dated for Jan.5th. Don't know why they delayed it, Oct. is such a great month for games. They keep saying this game is a complete overhaul and inprovement over the first one. The time to find out is long overdue. GIVE US THIS GAME!
I messed around with it for a bit during the PC beta to get an idea of how it would be and it wasn't that bad.(Although I was using a PS3 controller), I had trouble with the whole "leaving the instance" thing but eventually it becomes a no-brainer, just talk to the NPC. I guess they don't want to seem like the game is holding your hand. Things should pick up after the PS3 version comes out.
So let me get this straight. When Sony announced 3D gaming and movies it was just a gimmick with people bitching about it being locked @30 fps and 720p. But now that Microsoft has jumped on the bandwagon it's ok and everyone is "excited".
Oh well. Looks like 3D is definitely here to stay.
