I said that because it was all over their social media channels, there was a press release, and they even had a trailer on their YouTube account. If 'being right' is what will earn my comment "popularity", then so be it... ;-)
I mean, it really was embarrassing. You could tell they had nothing of substance, and yet so much build up and hype!
I mean... I really couldn't agree more. Where are the multiple upvote buttons, n4g?! ;-)
I agree. Steam also has the huge draw of being a one stop shop for most games, which is a massive selling point for a lot of people.
Neither am I!
I think it's more likely Valve will inevitably refocus their efforts back to software. Make Steam the ultimate digital platform for exclusives. That would easily be enough to mitigate any loses from third party publishers doing their own thing.
I have such high hopes for this!
You won't be disappointed. I don't think Phantom Doctrine was made with the same kind of budget the XCOM games had access to; you can tell that parts of the game (like facial animation) are a tad rough around the edges. But overall, it's a fantastic all round effort that is well worth a look.
Absolutely. I nabbed it a while back when Origin were still doing their 'On the House' giveaways... it has aged so well!
Stop discussing things people dont like!
I totally agree. It really feels like a phoned in effort. Such a shame, as Rush of Blood and The Inpatient were both great fun.
Because it just came out on Switch, we got sent a code, and we genuinely wanted to review it? Maybe? Haha.
*sigh* here's a theoretical example of actual clickbait: "man receives parcel seven years late, and you won't believe what's inside...". That headline deliberately withholds info from the reader which therefore generates interest. Plus, stuff like that often takes you to a poorly constructed 'blog' style website filled with unrelated advertising.
Our article is an opinion piece, which you are quite free to disagree with, but the headline refle...
But you did... right? ;-)
You know you don't have to read it right? Thankfully the Internet is mostly optional, so... ;-)
Argh! That's so annoying!! There HAS to be a better way to deal with this stuff...
That screenshot has been widely used in various previews and non-spoilers articles across the net? What exactly is it spoiling? A tree has a face? I mean, we discuss the nature of what constitutes a spoiler in the article, so... :-)
I'm really not sure about that other guy...
Agreed. I feel like saying to them: "Come on! Faster, Baby!" so they'll release it sooner.
Absolutely. Most of the 'news' was stuff previously announced. Did they mention anything we didnt already know about in the Sea of Thieves segment?
