I feel like the jump from oblivion to skyrim is much higher than morrowind to oblivion.

How can you say that Matthew, Oblivion had the WORST leveling system in an RPG by far. having to repeat use abilities to level up, and even trying not to use specific ones in order to take advantage of leveling. I still remember pounding on the heal spell over and over again in towns just to level it up.

Whats so wrong about making the leveling system deeper and promote replayability. Unless you like making 1 sword fighter, 1 mage, and 1 archer and be done with game. (course...

Johnny Badfinger, sorry to tell you this, but even though demon souls wasn't as long or had as much dialog.... It is still better than Oblivion in many ways. Not saying its an outright better game, but combat and leveling are far superior and had way more "awesome" moments.

So don't dismiss it as nothing compared to Oblivion. Both have strengths and weaknesses and some people prefer one over the other. I think they can learn from each other no doubt, loved ...

I already said I prefer gt5, but cmon people bashing Forza.

The games really are close man. Forza gets alot of things right that everyone just dismisses as nothing.

If a GT5.5 came out next year with car paint and the extra tuning options, people would be excited no doubt. even so Forza isnt just PGR with car paint.

I will also say that last time I played forza (right after gt5 was released to compare) there was hardly anyone online which was dissapointing.

look at what MS is doing, marketing to younger crowd and their parents. You dont think that has anything to do with the fact that most 8 to 10 year olds dont have the means to pirate games? (most not all)

The ps3 is now the last hardcore gamers machine, and I would like to keep it that way. my 360 will be collecting dust until gears of war comes out.

umm no... Piracy is why you dont have linux on Ps3. 360 and PC are hacked and we wonder what happened to pc and 360 exclusives.

psp failed due to piracy because you didnt even need to buy a mod chip. any kid with google can mod a psp.

also, tons of people hate playing games online, black ops was downloaded 4 million times on pc for singleplayer only.

ANY Windows computer can run 8 bit nes emulator, I've seen computers in the garbage that can run nes emulators.

You can even run n64 on computers with less than pentium 4, not much but you can.

I own both, and I think GT5 is better, the online is better for one. love the idea of the online component also rewarding toward single player. Also like how the online part offers single player circuits to change up things as well. while matchmaking is nice, lobbies do allow a higher level of customization, and picking a lobby through a specific car you want to use is nice.
