They havent dumbed down combat, they made it more accessible. If you dont want to play as one character on easy or normal difficulty pressing for each strike then dont.
I played pc qnd xbox demos and they restrict how u play, but the final game will let you play just like the first on higher difficulty with pausing and issuing commands.

Your kind of making my point somewhat. The wii is only making games for the casual crowds and younger crowds that dont make hardly a percentage of pirates.
Xbox was hacked earlier as well, and look at their focus... the same as the wii now. The xbox also is harder for hackers to go online because of banning and its also riskier since u need to pay with credit card online to get it.

for a kid with an xbox 360 logo you definitely have a pair...
if you played oblivion on pc you would never want to touch your xbox 360 again. or at least make it stand in the corner in timeout for awhile
but seriously oblivion has the best mods, including some great overhauls and xp modes. worth getting a gaming pc for that even before skyrim.
with the gaming pc you know that if theres something about skyrim you were dissapointed in.... some guys with same opinion will change it for you.
This has to be my most anticipated year for video games to date. there is so much to be excited for and it looks like the industry is saving the best for last.
so for everyone planning on buying both uncharted and skyrim, hope you can beat uncharted 3 in a couple weeks, because you wont touch it for awhile after that.

Ok ct03, its a fast stealth game.
wasn't trying to bash it, I know you can play as just a shooter, but the game promoted strategic gameplay and not run and gun. the most used ability is cloak. Crysis is a future version of Farcry which used tons of stealth elements.
sooooo when i say PRACTICALLY a stealth game, i meant pretty dam close to it.
I am not as much a stickler for graphics, but considering this keeps getting compared to Killzone I think I would like to weigh in.
Killzone 3 does a great job at atmosphere and ambiance with graphics (lots of particle effects and lighting effects). has more of a grit to it that lends itself to the theme of the game.
Crysis 1 (and looking like crysis 2) is looking for more of a uncharted look to it (more colors, bright lighting, and more uses for shadowing)...
If it plays like first one it wont be even close to resistance gameplay.
First crysis was practically a stealth game. Both good, but play much different.

I love how people say the game is garbage and the game isnt out yet. The game is attempting to appeal to more than one crowd which is really hard to do and rarely works.
