Is it actually a good game? I thought it'd be one of the games of this generation of they could do it right, but well it just looked dire.
Just no, it's good for an hour or 2. But it just kept crashing on my console, I got tired of having to keep launching.
I mean, I can see the arguments in favour of Sony... But for me, it wasn't even close. Sony E3 just seemed messy to me and I think MS nailed it.
But, that's the beauty of opinions.
Your double negative has confused me as to what you really mean...
What was that game in the Microsoft brief that was basically just Links Awakening? With a fox...
I don't need any of those... I have SoT. 😏
That's not what he said, he said "no where in this did it say they made that big of a map"...
But that's exactly what they said, but just they doubt it would make it into the game.
😂
Ooo, was there a game called Freedom Fighters? I loved that game. Oh, and Prisoner of War... And the wrestling games from that time were awesome... Maybe I'm looking back through rose tinted goggles.
I do think it's risky to rate based on potential... But with it following the GaaS model, it does make sense.
@BlueFox775
Its not that we're anti 60 fps, it's that the media tells us we want 4K. So of course it gives the fanboys something to argue about. So of course, that's where the time gets spent.
Myself personally though, don't particularly care about 60fps or 4k. 1080 @ 30 has suited me for years and until I get a 4k TV, I can't miss what I've never had.
I'm disappointed not to see Road Rash, Aladdin and Lion King on there. Also, never played the Contra game on the Mega Drive, but if it's anything like the one 3, it should have made the cut. Even at the expense of a Golden Axe and a Streets. 😉
That water though...
SoT isn't a console seller, at least it wouldn't be for me. But it is a lot of fun.
Erm... Many companies decide 2nd, 3rd or beyond is fine... I certainly don't think Microsoft expected the Xbox to be the best selling console, there are too many markets that they can't break while Sony and Nintendo are in them all.
Not meaning to be pedantic (or am I?).
While I agree that it's hardly noteworthy, news is define as "new information"... So, I'm afraid it is.
I think I got the same for a Game Pass challenge.
@Kribwalker
I agree with your agreement
While I agree with you on the incorrect pricing, the general theme of the article is accurate. I was looking through the marketplace just last night on the Switch and couldn't bring myself to purchase anything because it just didn't feel like good value.
Surely retail units doesn't include the people that have subscribed to GP because of this. Of course a game that is included in GP will take a hit in retail.
