I'm kind of mad someone said I had "unsupportive conduct". I always do what the objective calls for even though a lot of players don't.

I think it is an awesome product. It isn't meant to be all things for all people though. If I want a laptop to bring to business school this might fit the bill perfectly. Most people don't need a DVD drive everywhere they go. If they want to play games they can always rip it to their hard drive and still play too. It is expensive but convenience always costs more money. Someone said it had a touchscreen too like the iPhone. If you don't call that revolutionary I don't know what is.

I still love Call of Duty 3 online. I think it was much better then Call of Duty 2 and just about as good as Call of Duty 4... just different.

Bootsielon I agree with you that all those games definitely brought innovation. I have been there to try them all and they all brought something to the table. I think Halo the original brought a LOT to the table but... Halo 2 and 3 offered no improvements in my opinion other then what a normal sequel should bring: better graphics, better multiplayer, and just a more refined experience. Halo 3 did bring forge and I can get them credit for that but that does not affect gameplay... it affects...

I hope developers do what IW did with Call of Duty 4. They didn't just make a great game... they put leaves falling down, bugs flying around (and swarming around lights) and more. There is a lot of ambiance in Call of Duty 4 which really brought me in.

I think the screenshots are descent. I know the first Vegas on the Xbox although really really fun had crappy graphics so hopefully this one doesn't. Plus... and most sadly... the screenshot shows three dodge cars in the pi...

Maybe they are trying a new method to fix the problem.... propaganda. Maybe people will think it is fixed... crap... my Xbox just broke.

eLines do you work for Microsoft? You seem like a PR person.

Vega and to everyone that hates that people are moaning and groaning about recent live problems:

I normally like Microsoft and I enjoy their consoles but enough is enough. This isn't just about a month (and it still happens today) of Xbox live downtime. This is creating a console where we get nickeled and dimed, one where mine sounds like a vacuum cleaner, one where there are RROD issues, my controller recently broke, my old original Xbox drive broke... where does this end? ...

Will I have to use my same DVD drive? That thing is loud!

6637d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Bill, I think your managers are trying to look good by telling you about all the great feedback they are receiving and that the console is reliable. Hell... my console has not had the RROD yet but I would call it broken. The DVD drive sounds like a vacuum cleaner. It scares my cat! They call mine normal though. Go figure.

Yeah... I think I'm going to boycott Microsoft games and anything that adds revenue to Microsoft. I wish everyone would cancel their Xbox Live accounts at the same time. Although this would be miserable without online multiplayer and other features... Microsoft would change their ways very quick. I thought Microsoft should be very happy that the problems they have been having would ruin most companies. Luckily Microsoft has hardcore gamers that can overlook a few downfalls. That means we...

Yeah... contracts don't mean much. If a company wants to keep its customers they will do what the customer demands. It seems Microsoft is so used to getting sued that they forgot that giving consumers what they want first will prevent that.

Other then Microsoft... I have no doubt any service company won't give me a refund or credit of some sort. I'm sure if I call Microsoft I will get some foreign person on the phone who I can barely understand and who is reading from a scri...

And also... the IT department at Xbox live. Here's a skit...

"John the server usage on Xbox live is nearing capacity."
"It's alright Fred... it is just holiday traffic."
"Oh yeah... we wouldn't want to spend more on new equipment. We need that money to increase revenue and profits which in turn will make shareholders happy."

I like how they said that at any one point in time Xbox live was never down. Shows that they ...

I like Microsoft and the 360 but... if the next xbox has another major problem or a crappy DVD drive then I don't know if I can stay a fan.

My first Xbox console DVD drive broke and I had to go on ebay and buy a new one. Now my 360 console has another crappy drive (made by the same company) which sounds like a vacuum cleaner. What gives? What does the product analysis and selection team do at Microsoft?

You have three companies all offering you a DVD drive for...

I can't complain too much about IW since I really think this is the best game and most complete game ever created.

I wonder to this day if Microsoft is the reason that Halo 3 was released like 6 months too early. It needed major polishing, features, and maps.

Although it is Microsoft's fault on the Xbox live issues... IW could have helped with the problem by releasing their patch. Their patch was supposed to have host optimization and stuff that could have possibly helped.

As much as I don't want Blu-ray to win solely because of the anti-consumer technologies built into the format... I am kind of ready for this format war to be over and one to be declared a winner.

Then again... the format war delayed the death of DVD which makes me happy cuz it feels like the world just adopted it. I know families that just recently got their first DVD player. Oh well.

A lot of the XBLA titles are new IPs... not rehashes of older games.

Da360sucks... I don't know who you are trying to please. 360 owners hate you, Wii owners think you're stupid, and Sony console owners think you are giving them bad rep. You are a failure on all sides. It is people like you that shy me away from exploring what the PS3 has to offer which I'm sure is a lot.

I don't think 1.6% adoption rate is necessarily a failure. You need to look if it brought revenue/profit to the company because that is what determines if something is a success or a failure. I am kind of wondering if they were making money on the HD-DVD drive.

I think he is more saying that a mouse and keyboard will play a less pivotal role in the future. I think people some kind of touch system like the iPhone will catch on a bit and probably voice recognition will play a larger role too. I doubt it will be too popular though. I can't see how moving my entire arm to interact with an OS is more convenient then moving around my mouse. Hell... I'm too lazy usually to switch between my mouse and my keyboard so I use shortcuts on my keyboard to do ...
