Plus... why are the AI soooooo dumb? In the video the Rainbow Six member is sprinting and the enemy is just chilling looking out and not shooting. Then later the guy is "hiding" and "covering" while there is a rainbow six guy with a shotgun right next to him.
Oh... I forgot this is probably multiplayer so... the question then is why the human players are so dumb? I commonly see the same thing in Call of Duty 4 where people either don't have 5.1 speaker sy...
Yeah... the first Vegas looked like crap and this one doesn't seem much improved. Granted the first game was very fun but... with COD 4 being MUCH more fun then it needs to step up.
The way the characters fell and died looked fake! Plus it seemed to be really slow... they kept taking a lot of shots and not dying. But... at the end of the day this game will probably be fun. It just seems so slow and lethargic from the video though. And that's not because he was playing ta...
I know some of you played Call of Duty 3 to form your opinions but... I'm wondering how many people are just on the bandwagon here. I still love Call of Duty 3 and find it much better then COD 2 and almost as fun as COD 4. That is why you can still find people who want to play it online. Then again... a nice break from WWII for either modern times or Vietnam or something would be great. I don't personally want to play a game where we lose but... I'm sure we had small victories somewhere i...
I don't like it. If I don't get an 'A' it is the end of the world. A 'B' means lack of effort or a bad teacher and a 'C' I believe is failing.
On the number scale.... 90-100 is "go pick this up right now"
80-90 is... "great game... maybe a couple problems but still worth it"
70-80 is usually a don't buy unless I love the type of game
Either way you put it I still get about the same reaction.
Even if HD DVD doesn't catch on and fails... you still get a great DVD upscaler so I wouldn't feel too bad for them. I would buy one if I had more money.
So... if you are matched against people with the same skill... how does having the most skill help you (it would be the same as the others)? Wouldn't it just be luck who wins then? I mean... it might be skill if you continually change your actions based on others but... eventually you develop your own style and way of playing the game. Like... I will never snipe and I won't camp so... those are my limitations. Let's say you did rank up to the next skill level... then you are at the bottom...
So... what is the advantage and disadvantage of dedicated servers versus user hosting.
I think a lot of people would enjoy selecting their own game. Is it cost? If so... what is our $50 heading towards?
Because they put the first paid maps in the rotation is the reason I don't play Halo 3 anymore until the maps are free.
For Halo 2 I liked the model because I waited for the maps to become free and then they were part of matchmaking.
I shouldn't have to pay for something to play online. I always wonder why Bungie has matchmaking where you can't play what you want to play. Call of Duty 3 has it perfect. I can view all the games currently being played and sele...
I think the moderators are doing a good job. I have to admit... this is much better then it used to be. People who like other consoles aren't trash talking too bad or name calling. For an article like this you will have people even on the 360 side (like me) who hates that Microsoft did this to its most hardcore fans and completely denies their DVD problem which they have had since the first Xbox. Back then it wasn't the loudness of the drive though... it was the disc read error problem. ...
I actually liked the last option because I want my 360 to break. For one... it is old. For two... the DVD is really loud in my 360 and maybe my replacement will sound normal. Once I get to prestige 10 level 55 I might try this. Microsoft deserves it since they didn't use enough quality assurance.
It looks really annoying by the way. The first time I saw it I wondered how they did it but now that I see it all the time I think it is old and stupid. I usually just mute these people at the unset of the game because they are probably annoying people.
I think the question we have to ask in all seriousness is if the Wii has been successful for Nintendo. Profit wise and market share.... most definitely. But... having connections to various game developers and treating them with respect is where Nintendo lacks. That's a huge problem and not one they can afford to overlook. What happens after the Wii? Will their next console be cheap, small, and under powered? Will it be really strong and include a lot of features and cost the same as th...
I agree... the best weapons are the ones in the very beginning in Call of Duty 4. Halo 3 to me is backwards in almost every area. I want to concentrate on killing people when I enter a match, not search for weapons. I don't want to play with people at my skill level. I want to have matches that I dominate and sometimes get owned. I don't want to travel over huge maps just to get to the otherside, get killed, and have to make the run again. I don't want to play with kids that don't follo...
I don't think the MBA disappoints. I just think it isn't everything for all people like the other Macbooks. I would personally find this laptop perfect for my uses except for the price which I hate. The price will keep me from not buying it but maybe when I get a good job I will consider it again. The funny thing is that what is keeping me from getting the MBA (macbook air) is my MBA degree that I am getting now.
I really hope they do this. I hate the current design. It is big and clunky in my opinion. A new sleeker one would really increase sales.
I happen to love the 360 design but they could even do some slimming and stuff there as well.
I think the RIAA is the most hated company out there. Why not just charge the price of the CD times the number of friends you gave the ripped songs too. Add in a nominal small fee for them actually going around and finding you out and they're done!
I think this was actually a gift in surprise from Microsoft. This game sucked really bad in my opinion so the less people that can access it the better.
Then again... maybe I just don't understand the point of the game. I'm just rolling over mail men and benches and stuff and then it tells me how large I got when I'm done. huh?
I loved Rainbow Six Vegas but hopefully they vastly improve on the graphics which were quite rudimentary at the time and also improve upon the horrible advertisement campaign they pulled. Imagine walking down the strip and seeing Dodge cars everywhere and only Dodge cars. Then imagine the Dodge cars were not graphically designed well (not many details or polygons and it showed) and that is what he had last time. Other then that though the game did hit where all games should hit and that is...
Someone above said I hope the 34% know what they are jumping into and I hope so too. If they are buying it for an HD-DVD player and don't know the current status then I feel sad for them. If they are buying it as an upscaling DVD player then congrats... they are getting a very nice one I heard based on reviews.
As long as they keep the cool touch screen technology and stuff that the OS is supposed to bring then I will be happy. You know what really stinks though??? All the naysayers on XP that will make the jump to Windows 7 and it will be a lot slower then XP. Each OS usually decreases in speed so they will have the Vista slowdown and then the slowdown of the new OS. I don't get why people care if an OS drops you by 1-20 FPS. Unless it is Crisis. Especially with the touch screen technology pr...
