'Is that all, stranger?'
Science fiction setting would be great and all, but I doubt they'd do it, cuz it would push away a lot of casual gamers.
The first game was incredibly flawed, was PC-only & hasn't aged well at all (both graphically & gameplay-wise).
Hitman Contracts contains a lot of updated levels from the original Codename 47, so it's exclusion is no loss.
I'd say that both Sony & Microsoft are waiting till they their next-gen consoles are better secured against piracy, before officially releasing in China.
Fingers crossed for post-ending DLC. (Whether it's a variation of the infamous indoctrination theory or something new altogether)
The problems with Leviathan & Omega, was that we already knew the ultimate outcome regardless of events that transpired after the DLC, which made them shallow experiences...
Huh, a review from a Thai paper. Not something you see everyday!
I'd gladly take a few annoying Uplay features over the game getting cancelled!
I remember on the PS2's LOTR The Return of The King, there was an unlockable video of the film's cast playing the game (Elijah Wood, the big geek was cleaning up!) but Ian McKellan couldn't fit the Dualshock in his massive hands!
@Tvensky: I pray to God that you're a girl-gamer, otherwise...*shudders*
No love for the chainsaw in Doom 3 BFG Edition?!
I know it's a OPM list, but not even a token mention of the most famous chainsaw in gaming; the Lancer from Gears of War?
I fear that the Wii U is going to become the next Dreamcast; both sold well initially, had good features & games, but unfortunately was released between console generations & fell in sales, behind more powerful hardware of the upcoming competition (Orbit & Durango)...
Old Dante wasn't all that great & neither is the the new one. The Devil May Cry series relies on solid gameplay & Ninja Theory has succeeded in creating a fresh enjoyable game, that still pays homage to the original trilogy. Any naysayers can go whinge to their Mommies.
Insignificant details that barely matters to the untrained eye. Try GTA 4 at 1920x1080 60fps & you'll see how much better it performs than '3fixme' & 'super cell'.
There will be no real difference between GTA5 on either platform, if you have both, then play it on the one that your mates play (for the online).
Monster Hunter was huge on the PSP in Japan, so it would make sense that Capcom would return the favor & bring it to the Vita.
Also if Soul Sacrifice is a big success, then it could be a turning point for the PSV in it's home market.
I heard that Capcom demanded that only his penis stay true to the series Japanese roots.
Gearbox are good dev's, but just to elaborate on 1Upgamer99; Gearbox ported Halo: CE to Windows & created the HL1 expansion pack Blue Shift.
I have a funny feeling that Remember Me might turn out to be another Brink or WET, aka a game that looks great in previews but doesn't pull it off in the final product...
The only thing 'messy' about the PS3 was it's launch, since then it's gone from strength to strength. The fact that it has recently surpassed the 360 in lifetime sales (despite it's year head-start), is a testament to that.
It also taught me how to run a once-great game franchise into the ground.
Nah, Ubisoft are actually chummier with Sony when it comes to exclusivity deals (Probably because AC was originally intended to be a PS3 exclusive).
The reason it's out a day earlier on 360, is because PSN doesn't get updated till midweek.
Don't want to sound too doom & gloom; but the Dreamcast (which had a great collection of core games & unique features), was released in a similar position between console generation.
It sold great at first, hitting 500,000 sales in it's first two weeks, but peaked out at 10.6 million lifetime sales before it's cancellation...
In this economy, with Sony & MS's next consoles on the horizon, the Wii U faces an uncertain future .
