I was gonna skip PSVR until PS5 until I traded a bunch of old MegaDrive/32X gear in £800 credit at CEX. After that, I had no excuse not to dive in. Picked up the v2 box, AIM & Move controllers, Wipeout, Resi 7, VR Worlds, Doom VFR, Farpoint, Statik, Brookhaven Experiment, and all the freebie DLs I could find.
Stunning peice of kit. I'm sold. It's not a gimmick; it's essential! Anyone who naysays clearly hasn't tried it.

The answer is simple - to interfere with pre-owned sales to force people to either buy new or pay extra for parts 2&3 if they get it 2nd hand. Worthy of a protest methinks.

7. PSVR 2
I only picked up the PSVR because I got a stupid amount of credit from trading in my old Mega Drive hoard, but oh boy am I glad I did! Skyrim was a bit nauseating but Wipeout, Resi 7, London Heist, and so many others are superb. The amount of immersion you get is unparalleled. This NEEDS to succeed and improve so that it doesn't be the next failed fad (PS3 Move, MS Kinect, plastic guitars, etc.). VR truly could and should be the futur...
1. Exclusives .
Goes without saying but, as I'm making a list, it needs to be in the top spot.
2. Backwards compatibility.
Definitely with PS4; that's a must and it'd be a shot in the foot if they didn't because Microsoft WILL be compatible with XB1. Preferably with PS1&2 too; that would be amazing. If they want to insta-win the next gen, then throw in PS3 as well.

The only reason I don't have the Mayo plat is because it's not available in the UK. I do, however, have plats for Little Adventure on the Prairie (twice), 36 Fragments of Midnight (twice), Black & White Bushido, Energy Cycle, Nubla (twice), Coffin Dodgers, Terminator Salvation.
All shockingly easy platinums. But then I think that's offset by getting the platinum on Goat Simulator. That Flappy Goat trophy made me want to hurt the devs and set fire to my TV.

I got one because I found an X1S for £120 and I could get near £100 credit for my old 360 gear. It was too good a deal to turn down.
I kept my Xbox exclusives from 360 and got the XB1 exclusives (Halo MCC, Sunset Overdrive, Quantum Break, Rare Replay). I pretty much only use it for occasional Halo local MP nights and 4K blu-ray.
99.99% of my gaming is on my PS consoles (PS4, Vita, PS3, PSVR).
I have both. I never play on my XB1.
Games nominated for awards before they're even released/announced. 🤔
