Microsoft doesn't make a dime from games releasing on the pc. Anyone can make a game for the windows platform and microsoft doesn't make a cent from it, only the xbox versions.

Although I agree with you you need to understand something, one of the main reasons for SFV being released on the ps4 and pc alone was due to the fact that microsoft has an archaic policy of no cross platform play. Capcom wanted it so that all platforms can challenge each other and microsoft does not allow that. Sony has absolutely no issues with that and they have stated that on a number of occasions. Microsoft screwed themselves out of this deal.

Do you have any idea how horrendously powerful the cell in the ps3 was? The problem with it was that it was difficult to develop for but in no way was it underpowered.

Yeah, because after uncharted next year sony will decide to completely stop making exclusives and will abandon the ps4 like microsoft did with the original xbox. Sony is just waiting for this year to end to call it quits on the exclusive front and will just allow microsoft alone to make more games. Based on your "spot on" calculations the ps4 life cycle is only 2 1/2 years.
