I think they did the demo like that because they didn't want to give too much of the story away. Had they allowed everyone to experience different scenarios based on the choices they made would have probably ruined some surprises they have on the final release.
"If the series was a huge as hardcore fans would have you believe, the Dreamcast would never have failed."
Are you serious about this statement? One good franchise can't save an entire system. If that was the case nintendo wouldn't be in the crap storm they are in now with the wiiu.
@Lightning Mr Bubbles
I said that years ago and no one believed me. I said that TLG would be on sony's next system. After watching the original trailer you could tell they had a massive scope for this game. People keep saying that the game does not look any better than the ps3 trailer, but the thing is I doubt they could have done what they originally showed on the ps3 anyway and that's the whole point. We would have gotten a massively downgraded game in comparison t...
OHHHHHH so all of a sudden INDIES are important?????? I spent the last year and a half reading comment after comment about how xbox fans didn't pay $500 to play indies but now indies are great right? All of a sudden it's a plus to get indies right?
People like you are a stain on the gaming community.
Horizon just became one of my most anticipated games EVER. I can't believe what I saw.
DLNA SUPPORT FINALY😀😀
Backwards compatibility is not possible with the ps3 and ps4. Two completely different architectures. For that to work the ps4 would need to have a cell processor in it or if not, some seriously expensive hardware to do the conversion and that would probably send the price of a ps4 to about $500 - $600.
I really don't get what all the concern is about. All games that supported 3D could be played normally in 2D. If a game uses morpheus it does not mean that you can only play it using morpheus. We need to see what they have in store first before we start panicking.
Agreed but it is always a good thing to have it. I have God alone knows how many games for my ps2 and out of all of them I only still play about 4 or 5, but at the end of the day the fact is I still play them. Having the option, for me, is a great thing and only adds value to the console.
It's good that microsoft did this. I would have liked the ps4 to have this option but I do realize the vast difference in architecture between the ps3 and ps4 that makes this impossible....
I was literally just about to type the same bloody thing and something told me to keep reading the comments lol. spot on.
@wakeNbake
I don't get it, I really don't. What delusional world are you microsoft fanatics living in that you constantly keep saying that halo is the most successful exclusive franchise of all times? For crying out loud, if you can come here and type that drivel then surely you can take 10 minutes to google the bloody subject, then you wouldn't have to keep coming here and subjecting us to that BS fanboy logic over and over.
@moozie
"PS on the other hand is sonys only profitable department."
It's amazing that you criticize him for making what you deem to be an inaccurate statement then you go and say this drivel.
What the hell????? You won the "most senseless comment of the day" award, congrats.
Amazon alone could have caused over 30,000 in lost sales for the ps4 by them being out of stock.
If Sony really shows the last guardian, they will break e3. That will be an e3 moment to remember.
"Dont try to sound like a smarta$$, it makes u look dumb."
Oh the irony.
Agreed with a lot of what you said except for the servers. You have your timelines extremely screwed up. The resistance servers were taken offline 2 years and seven months after the release of resistance 3. The fact is that the multiplayer aspect of resistance 2 and 3 were completely dead. People only still played the R2 co-op mode and it was only about 70 people at the most. As much as I still loved playing co-op it really didn't make sense keeping those servers up for only 70 people. <...
I'm willing to bet you will NOT see that.
So, when you were in the last Guerrilla Games board meeting and they said they were releasing Horizon in 2017 how did you react?
