That was never the question so I don't see the reason behind you leaving anything anywhere.
The ps3 outsold the xbox 360 from day one. it was inevitable that it would have caught up. This gen however it's a completely different thing. The xbox is behind and is still being outsold massively, there is no way (outside of sony going out of business) that the xbone will catch up.
It was not tied 80 million each, but you keep feeding yourself that false information. Whatever helps you sleep at night right?
