ok now do the same voting with PS3 owners who have an HDTV i bet u get similar results. hecne the reason they dont own blu ray movies.
first off, if u buy a dual format player you are as stupid as the people buyign hd dvd players. Second al that matters in a format war is DISC SALES. THATS IT PERIOD. hardware prices will everntually coem down for any formatt but if the format isnt selling discs then it doenst matter how cheap the player is. plus Toshiba used there last ACE, the sub $199 plaey. they said that will end it all, yet its been weeks and it hasnt helped at all. they have nothign left.
im sorry but this was smart on blu rays behalf, they know there format isnt perfect yet, ( with the profile changes and stuff) so they were right to ditch out
the bottome line is all Valve cares about is money. they can give a crap about you and me. they are takign the quick easy aproach to port half life to teh consoles so they dotn have to spend money on PS3 engineers.
all this means is disney is coverign there bases just incase blu ray loses. it doenst mean they are moving anywhere. they have to muc money invested in blu ray.

hahaha no it wont, that sub $200 price has been goin on for months, at it hasnt doen anything about disc sales for HD DVD. thats all that matters. disc sales and blu ray has the advantage and always has.
hd dvd will not win big this xmas, htey alwasy say hd dvd is gonn win a battle everytime they do soemthing crazy. The paramount deal didnt help. Transformers didnt help, the $99 players didnt help. yes if you have a TV that supports FGB full then turn it on on your PS3. games look so much mroe contrasty and better. i have a 60A3000 Sony bravia and it looks freakign sweet.
im sorry, move studios can give a crap about "features" tey just want to sell as many movies as possible. PAramount got 150mil and figured HD DVD would take off casue it was cheaper. they were wrong so now they are trying to cover there bases. if sales keep goin the way they are goin with blu ray outselling 3:1 , then u will see paramount back to nuetral in 18 months
HD DVD is so done, its so funyn to watch a format fall apart at the seams, its great i love it, they are trying everythign t make themselves look good, and blu ray is just sittign there watching in glee.
1080p tvs not a standard for 10 years from now? are you insane? they are the standard NOW. you can get a 50inch 1080p for $1200 now. 2 eyars ago they were liek $3000 and where only 1080i. im osrry they are the standard right now.
