a new and unknown Xbox site..who's owner was the person who posted the blog here on N4G.
It's seems legit at first blush but after you see the facts you have to question the legitimacy of the site.
"The foundation of the ME engine is multi core based I read this they would have to start all over for PS3 as if they have the time ans resources to do it even if EA made them and we know EA isn't going to come close if a sperate team somehow was able to keep up."
hmm no restriction to multicore PCs on suggested Hardware -so it must scale in some manner. http://ma...
Similar to Kojima and him saying MGS4 is ONLY a PS3 game... guess turn about is fair play for a title like this for Fanbois.
Again I for one don't think it is coming to the PS3 - But I will point out flaws in arguements either direction.
Just as long as people remember the Itagaki had nothing to do with NG:Sigma ... so even if he quits it doesn't necessarily mean the last version on the market.
That of course is not to say that it would ever happen but it has to be put out there.

3rd post.... it's possible ... JUST NOT LIKELY. (as per a Bioware Community Communications Coordinator)
"At the moment, there are no plans for a PS3 version of Mass Effect. It is possible that someday down the road, if demand is high enough, there could be a PS3 version or a PC version of Mass Effect. However, currently ...
you mean like this?

hard to find the job postings for Bioware 2005/6 but if you can dig em up you will find the 23 jobs for PS3 programmers...
btw: before you call someone a liar... check facts first ^_-
few things wrong with your reply:
1) they did mention Halo Wars and Alan Wake.
CVG interview at Microsofts conference:
Microsoft Game Studios boss Shane Kim: "We're not showing Halo Wars here today because we wanted to focus on these titles," he said. "When we show titles we want to show them when they are ready. We've learned that from a few games we showed too early, like Too Human. The same goes for Alan Wake," he added. "We're managing...

Procedural Texture Stream Processor.
Even if ME2 was coming to the PS3 (I don't believe it is). It would be out long after Fallout 3 ... which follows Oblivion...
Wait ...does this mean you can't understand the channel system?
I tend to think that this will remain a X360 exclusive as Microsoft did fund part of the first one (I suspect contractual obligations...) But then again we see Ninja Theory go multiplat after Sony funded their last project.
not if they read the first two comments in the comments section they won't ^_-

Very true ... both sides are closing in on them.
Differentiate now or die.
yep, great year for all consoles... I still prefer one but they all offer something.
9.3 is right.
Seeing from behind the veil of NDA... both have lots of life left in them.
I do work on one of the consoles though and my personal feeling is that it can go much further than the other overall.
"--it's clear that GTA IV underperformed on Xbox 360 relative to Microsoft's pre-April installed base, while it exceeded expectations on PS3 relative to Sony's pre-April installed base."

DivX is not a good compression standard for disc based media. Kojima would not have used it even if it were available to him as he prefers uncompressed as much as possible.
Procedural Methods for cut scenes take less room and use already created assest to begin with so DivX doesn't actually save on space in most ingame engine cut scenes.
DivX quality? Oo HAH! PS3 Blu-ray based games don't need DivX.
DivX is good for 1 thing only ...making unbearably long video downloads less unbearable. So I suspect it's for PSN games.
If I could skip DivX for that or Video Downloads I would.
Yes! Finally proper priorities!
quality > quantity
