THIS is what I pictured all thoss years ago when Pokemon Stadium was released. It's taken a while, but we finally have a Pokemon fighting game!
This game looks pretty dark.
...seriously, I can't see a thing
An original story written by Akira Toriyama would be nice, but then again I am the king of wishful thinking...
Good to see that this isn't just some half-arsed movie tie-in, which it could've easily been. Good job, Insomniac!
I love 2D Metroidvania games, and this looks like it's a great homage to that great retro style of gaming. Plus it looks adorable, which is a bonus.
Good to hear that there are people playing games in a mature way that doesn't mean that they just swear and say stupid things a lot. I've not heard of them, so I'll check them out now
Hayley Atwell and Daisy Ridley would both be great shouts- I think Emily Blunt wouldn't be bad either.
The original voice acting from the first game is a gift that we should always cherish.
"It's a weapon! It's reeeeeally powerful, ESPECIALLY against living things!"
...where are the buttons? Pretty sure that a controller needs buttons to qualify as a controller- or am I just old-fashioned?
You had me at "Ninja Gaiden meets Hotline Miami" with Katana Zero.
Yeah, we'd all like a lot of things!
Uncharted has always been a real visual treat. I'm looking forward to how the fourth one looks.
Also, Nathan Drake's looking kinda old... :(
Pro tip: when playing Plague Inc, give your virus a rude name for 10x more fun.
Cheats aren't meant to be the way that you play games; that's why they're called "cheats." Games should challenge players in order to make sure that the player feels like they've accomplished something; it's that simple. Games that are too focused on compromising themselves in order to let the player complete them end up being shallow and forgetable experiences that ultimately equate to nothing more than a few sequenced button pushes.
If that'...
It's things like this that make it harder and harder for players to trust publishers when they showcase their games. How can you know what you're getting with the final product when publishers are pulling the wool over your eyes like this?
Every Brit playing The Division saw the queue building up and thought "Now this is something that I DON'T need a tutorial on. I'm British: I know how to queue!"
As long as I get to saw dudes in half with a cool yet somewhat impratical chainsaw gun, I'll be happy.
I've had some time with Dark Souls 3 after only playing Bloodborne. The big thing for me was getting to used to the shield and playing defensively rather than evasively. It's not a complete departure from Bloodborne, but it definitely takes some time to adapt.
The NES: the system which turned you into a gaming master, or chewed you up and spat you out.
What we have to remember is that all we have to go on for what Silent Hills may have been is PT- a playable teaser. It's hard to say what the final product might have been like from the small amount of gameplay that we had
