I had exact same problem I have PS4 so I joined a community now it's a lot easier to get people to play without having to go online. But I agree matchmaking is definitely needed the reasons they give for not adding it is such bull even with finding people via community you still get people who will quit.

I think what happened is I think E3 of 2013 or 2014 Sony showed a bunch of stuff that did not have release dates and that year MS announced games coming later that year or the next so a lot of people talked trash on Sony for that. But since then I noticed Sony only announce stuff coming the year of or the very next year except for them promoting VR. I also hope they let us re-download updated versions of the PS1 games we got on PS+ when it first came out on PS3.

I haven't had a problem getting online since the Christmas thing happened. When they do maintenance I'm usually at work so it doesn't effect me.
I agree even now you can only level your weapon to a certain degree so as we fight more powerful people your gear and weapons will get under powered anyway. I do not see the point in being angry about this. I like e3 for surprise's only surprise at MS e3 was backward compatibility everything coming this year was pretty much known about there new games had no gameplay and no due dates.
There is a few different things at play I wonder how many ways could you view the MS conference off the top of my head there is twitch and YouTube I viewed on YouTube but Sony have twitch, YouTube, Sony live viewer, and of course the movie theater which is how I viewed it so there is no way to tell just from twitch but Sony people can't view nothing but game streams on ps4 unless they used the browser so no one watching on ps4 viewed via twitch I bet.
timotim like I said I don't see much use for gamer's but if a person just bought a Sony,Samsung,or LG smart TV they might try out a ps now game or two hell this can get people not into games into games who knows lol. Again asfor gamer's it will not be so big maybe a game that you missed here and there but I doubt anyone will be paying yearly for this service.
PS now is not a answer to BC Sony is supposed to be working on a method for true BC PS now are for people who are new to ps and may only have a vita or ps4 and want to play a bunch of ps3 games or don't want to buy a console and have a smart TV you can try it that way as well I see some benefit to it for hardcore gamer's but not much.
Actually Hayter is pretty big in Hollywood he wrote the first two Xmen movies and other great movies. I myself do not mind the change. Before someone claim I am not a real fan, MGS is the reason I play games and I have all the games but the voice doesn't matter I always loved the stories and gameplay could read the dang thing lol but that is me but I get what people is talking about.
